Chapter 13 - Shattered Timelines

Aarav woke up to the soft hum of his alarm. But something felt… off. The world around him seemed slightly different—colors muted, sounds sharper, and the air heavier.

He glanced at his phone. Multiple unread messages from unknown numbers.

"She doesn't remember you."

"Time is breaking."

"If you fail, it's forever."

His chest tightened. The warnings weren't abstract anymore—they were real.

He rushed to the bridge, only to find it empty, the river flowing quietly as if nothing had ever happened.

"Riya?" he called, panic rising.

A sudden flash—an image in his mind: Riya laughing, but the laugh was hollow, empty. She didn't see him. She didn't know him.

Aarav stumbled backward, clutching the notebook. The letters, the promises—they were fading. Time itself was erasing their love.

He screamed into the wind, desperate, "No! This can't be real!"

The whisper returned, harsher this time:

"You interfered. You can't force time to bend without paying the price."

Aarav's hands shook. He realized: if he didn't act fast, she would forget him forever.
