What everyone hadn't expected was that, when she was a few meters away from James, she immediately kneeled on one knee and greeted James respectfully. "Young Master!"
Everyone was shocked, especially the manager, because he was the only one who knew that she was a genuine B-rank Awakener.
"Brother, who's that?" Kai was also surprised by the scene unfolding in front of him.
James only laughed and didn't answer Kai as he approached her.
"You don't need to act like this from now on, Yao Yao." James helped her to stand up since he felt awkward that someone like her acted this polite to him.

"We'll take our leave now." James smiled at the appraiser and looked at his brother. "Let's go!"
When they stepped out of the store, James noticed at the corner of his right eye that Ethan seemed to have been waiting for him outside.
James shook his head helplessly at this and ignored him as he started to walk toward the car.
"Stop right there, you trash!" Ethan barked, walking with a furious expression.

James sighed at this since he actually didn't want to waste his time to deal with this kind of thing.
"What do you want, loser?" James sneered, tilting his head lazily as if he couldn't be bothered with all this.
Ethan stopped for a second, surprised by such a reply that came out of James's mouth.
"What did you just say, you fucking piece of shit!" Ethan gritted his teeth in anger, and veins started to appear across his face.
James turned around, facing Ethan and laughing loudly. "I said, what do you fucking want, loser!"
"You!" Ethan couldn't contain his anger anymore and lunged toward James with a fist enveloped by flames.
"Smash his head gently." James said lightly, as if it was nothing.
"Got it, young master." Lan Yaolei immediately vanished into thin air and appeared in front of Ethan.
Boom!
A small crater was made at the roadside as Lan Yaolei smashed his head on the ground.
"Watch your fucking mouth when you speak with the young master, you fucking loser!" Lan Yaolei was genuinely angry when she saw that someone was being this disrespectful toward James.
She didn't know why James called him a loser, but if her young master said so, then he was a loser. That's why she also emphasized the word "loser" when she cursed him.
"You! Do you know who my father is?" Ethan shouted in anger since this was the first time someone dared to treat him like this, let alone attack him in this manner.
"Oh? Is your father also a fucking loser like you?" Lan Yaolei sneered and smashed his head out of anger again.

The crater had become bigger, and a cracking sound could be heard from Ethan's head.
"That's enough, you might kill him at this rate." James chuckled, but he was actually afraid if they actually committed murder in public like this where there were a lot of people watching.
"I understand, young master." Lan Yaolei nodded and released his palm from his face slowly.

"Hmmph! You're lucky that my young master is really kind." Lan Yaolei snorted unhappily.
Then, she gripped Ethan's arm and snapped it.
"Arrggghhhhh!" Ethan screamed in agony.

James coughed as he was caught off guard with Lan Yaolei breaking Ethan's arms casually as if it was a small thing.
'This girl is really cruel.' James thought to himself, glancing at Ethan's broken arm.
"Let's go." James said and was about to walk away but stopped as he noticed that his brother was standing still with a terrified expression.
"Don't be scared, she's cruel, but she's a strong awakener and won't hurt us because she's my subordinate." James patted his younger brother's head, reassuring him with a smile.
Kai gulped and nodded at his brother, trying his best to calm himself down because he wasn't used to seeing such cruel things, as he had always been focused on his studies and just played with their little sister all day.
This time, James was the one driving the car because Kai was not in his best state of mind and wouldn't be able to drive properly.
"Yao Yao, don't be that cruel next time. Especially when my little sister is with us."James reminded Lan Yaolei in advance because he was afraid that her little sister would be traumatized by such a scene.
"Understood, young master." Lan Yaolei nodded seriously.
"What are we going to do now?" Kai tilted his head and looked at his brother curiously.
"We're going back home to pick up Liora first." James replied with a chuckle and sped up the car.
15 minutes later…
They arrived in front of a rundown 5-story apartment in a poor neighborhood. After they got out of the car, James glanced at Lan Yaolei and said. "Wait here for a bit."
Lan Yaolei nodded her head and leaned on the car leisurely, watching James and Kai walk toward the building.
The reason why James told her to wait outside was to prevent something bad from happening in case there would be someone eyeing his car, and they might even steal the side mirror of the car or something.
When they arrived in front of their small apartment room, James smiled faintly, as he couldn't wait to bring this good news to his little princess.

A cute little girl dressed in simple brown clothes who seemed to be around 9 years old was running excitedly toward him.
She then jumped into James's arms, hugging him affectionately.
"Big brother, why did you tell brother Kai to come and not me too?" She pouted unhappily, puffing out her cheek as she looked at James.
James laughed and petted her sister's hair softly. "Liora, my little princess… I'm sorry, okay?"
"How about this? We will eat and buy whatever you want because your brother is rich right now." He said with a smile.
"Is this your payday?" Liora's eyes lit up, remembering that his brother's payday should be around these days.
"Yes, but that's—"
"Yeayyy! I want to eat a lot of fried chicken!" Liora immediately became overjoyed and hugged James tightly.
James shook his head with a smile and went inside while carrying his sister.
