Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 28,29,30

CHAPTER 28 — The Blue Notice

Singapore was supposed to be a vacation of conquest, but the air at Changi Airport was thick with more than just humidity.

As Li Zheng Yuan and Gu Wei Chen stepped into the VIP terminal, their "Shadow Protocol" pinged a red alert. Not from a rival gang, but from Interpol.

"They've issued a Blue Notice," Xu Kai's voice crackled through their encrypted earpieces from Shanghai. "They can't arrest you yet, but they're authorized to monitor every breath you take on Singaporean soil. You're being watched by the best."

Li Zheng Yuan didn't break his stride. He adjusted his silk tie, his face a mask of bored aristocracy. "Let them watch. It's a free show."

Gu Wei Chen leaned in, his eyes scanning the "janitors" and "travelers" in the lobby. "I count six tails. Two at the exit, four in the cars. They're not hiding, Zheng Yuan. They're posturing."

"They want us to feel the cage," Zheng Yuan replied, stepping into a waiting black sedan. "They've forgotten that I own the glass."

Inside the car, the "Voice" in Zheng Yuan's head—once a chaotic intruder—now felt like a cold, tactical advisor. They have a lead investigator. A woman named Sofia Rossi. Find her. Break her spirit before she finds our trail.

CHAPTER 29 — The Lion's Den

The meeting in Singapore wasn't in a boardroom. It was at the Marina Bay Sands, overlooking the infinity pool that seemed to spill into the sky.

Li Zheng Yuan sat across from the head of the Singaporean Port Authority, a man who held the keys to the busiest trade route in the world. But standing in the corner was a woman in a sharp grey suit. Sofia Rossi.

"CEO Li," Sofia said, her voice like grinding gravel. "I've been following your 'success' in Tokyo. It was... efficient. Almost too quiet."

Zheng Yuan sipped his sparkling water. "Efficiency is the soul of business, Inspector Rossi. I hope you aren't suggesting anything else."

"I'm suggesting that everywhere you go, people disappear and companies fall," she countered, stepping into the light. "I don't believe in ghosts. I believe in patterns."

Gu Wei Chen laughed, leaning against the glass railing. "Patterns can be faked, Inspector. Just like intentions."

Sofia looked at the Gangster, then back at the CEO. "You two are a strange pair. A high-flying strategist and a street-bred enforcer. Which one of you is the brain, and which one is the trigger?"

Li Zheng Yuan stood up, closing the distance between them until he was inches from her face. His eyes were void-black, reflecting her own determined expression.

"We are the same person," Zheng Yuan whispered. "And you are standing in our way."

CHAPTER 30 — The Night of the Long Knives

Sofia Rossi made a mistake. She thought the "Shadow" would wait for her to build a case.

At 3:00 AM, the Singaporean police headquarters suffered a total data blackout. For sixty seconds, every digital record of Li Zheng Yuan and Gu Wei Chen vanished.

In that minute, the "Shadow" moved.

Li Zheng Yuan entered Sofia's private apartment. He didn't bring a weapon. He brought a file.

Sofia woke up to find the CEO sitting at her kitchen table, illuminated only by the city lights. She reached for her service weapon, but a hand caught her wrist—Gu Wei Chen had emerged from the shadows of her hallway.

"Relax, Inspector," Wei Chen said softly. "We're just here to talk."

Li Zheng Yuan slid the file across the table. It contained evidence of the very corruption Sofia had been trying to fight within Interpol—names of her superiors who were on the payroll of European syndicates.

"You're hunting the wrong monsters, Sofia," Zheng Yuan said, his voice a calm, rhythmic lullaby. "You want to stop us because we're 'dangerous.' But these men? They're parasites. They're making the world weak."

Sofia looked at the file, her hands trembling. "You expect me to work for you?"

"I expect you to be smart," Zheng Yuan replied, standing up. "Join us, and you can clean the house you serve. Oppose us, and you'll be the next piece I remove from the board."

He walked to the door, stopping to look back at the broken inspector.

"The world is changing, Sofia. Choose the side that wins."

As they disappeared into the Singaporean night, the "Voice" finally spoke again. She's ours now. The law is just another tool in our kit.

Li Zheng Yuan smiled. The empire wasn't just global anymore. It was becoming the law.
