The Brave Little Girl – Chapter 2: The Dark Forest Test

The next morning, little Anaya woke up before sunrise. She could not forget the old woman's words from the previous day — "Your village needs you."

As she stepped outside, she saw something strange. A thick, dark mist had covered the path leading to the forest. The birds were silent. Even the wind seemed afraid.

Suddenly, her best friend Rina came running.

"Anaya! The river is drying up. The water is disappearing!"

The village river was their only source of water. Without it, the crops would die, and the people would suffer. The elders believed that the river spirit was angry.

Anaya remembered the glowing stone the old woman had given her. It felt warm in her hand. She knew this was the time to be brave again.

"I will go to the forest," Anaya said firmly.

The villagers were shocked. "It's too dangerous!" they warned.

But Anaya did not step back.

As she entered the forest, the mist grew thicker. Strange sounds echoed around her. Her heart beat fast, but she kept walking. Suddenly, a huge shadow appeared before her. It was a giant wolf with shining eyes.

"Why have you come here, little girl?" the wolf growled.

Anaya held the glowing stone tightly. "I have come to save my village. Please tell me why the river is drying."

The wolf looked at her carefully. Instead of attacking, it smiled slightly.

"You are brave. The river is blocked by fallen rocks near the mountain. Only someone with a fearless heart can remove them."

Anaya climbed toward the mountain path. It was steep and slippery. She almost fell many times, but she did not give up. Finally, she reached the rocks blocking the river. With all her strength, she pushed and moved the smaller stones one by one.

As the last stone rolled away, water rushed down the mountain again. The mist slowly disappeared. The forest became bright and peaceful.

When Anaya returned home, the villagers cheered with joy. The river was flowing once more.

That night, Anaya looked at the sky and smiled. She realized something important — being brave does not mean not feeling fear. It means moving forward even when you are afraid.

And this was only the beginning of her adventures… 🌟
