That statement was devoid of any emotion; it calmly stated a fact.
It pierced through the lingering noise on the bridge and precisely struck Zabuza Momochi's ear.
Zabuza's body, his powerful frame held tightly by eight ninja dogs, began to tremble violently.
It wasn't because of the pain, nor because of the depletion of chakra.
It was an uncontrollable spasm that spread from the depths of the soul.

He walked to Bai's corpse, and seemingly to vent his anger, he raised his foot and kicked Bai's slender body hard.
"And this brat, he's a good-for-nothing too."

That muffled thud was like a thunderclap, exploding in Zabuza's mind.
The emotions deep within him, which he had forcibly suppressed and wrapped up layer by layer with the word "tool," finally exploded.
That was the child he had picked up from the snow.
He is the only one who truly needs him, looks up to him, and is willing to give everything for him.
It is not a tool.
"roar!"
A roar, inhuman and filled with the fury of a wild beast, erupted from deep within Zabuza's throat.
A massive and violent surge of chakra erupted into the sky, even causing the eight ninja dogs binding him to whimper uneasy.

He didn't preach loudly like in the original story, nor did he reprimand Cardo.
He slowly, step by step, walked up to Zabuza.
He took out an ordinary kunai from his ninja tool bag.
On the system panel, a stream of data that no one could understand flashed by.

He handed the seemingly ordinary kunai to Zabuza.
Everyone was stunned.

There was no ninjutsu, no skill.
Only the most primal, most ferocious biting and chopping.
Blood mist splattered.
Screams, the cracking of bones, and the clash of weapons intertwined to create a symphony of despair.
Zabuza used his body to smash through swords, his teeth to tear apart the throats of his enemies, and with that small kunai, he frantically vented the grief and anger that had been building up all his life, and the despair that had nowhere to go.
His wounds multiplied and his movements slowed, but he didn't stop.
Naruto stood to the side, watching quietly.
He was like a top-notch theater connoisseur, appreciating the grand and magnificent one-man show on stage.
