(This is calixs pov now not hunters)
The day started off by me having to tend to my dragon fruit and moon flowers. They only bloom at night but that dosent mean they dont need care at all times! But other then that once i finish caring for my babys I look outside to see...a human? At least I think their a human it seems their moving into the small house near the edge of the woods. So naturally I go to my main sorcery room to see if I have anything that would help me learn about this person and no I dont. Ya know as someone who was raised by witches for 14 years I should probably get better at keeping stock of things. Then again I am part vampire and a vampire without blood is a more forgetful one. That is because blood is something vampires need and i havent had a drop since I was...9? Its hard to remember since blood wasnt really something i ever had access to. See I am not a full vampire I am what is called a dhampire but I dont like the sound of that so I just say demi-bat. And I am a demi-dat because my mom was a vampire and my dad was a human. However my mom rarely if ever drank blood and even when she did it was normaly an animals blood. But this did stop towns folk from thinking my mom was a monster. So one night when she was caught drinking a dead birds blood it was set for her to be burned at the steak the next morning. And when everyone found out my dad knew she was a vampire it was set for him to be burned as well. So since my parents didnt want 6 year old me to face the same fate they thought it was best to leave me with a family friend. And that family friend ended up bring 2 loving witches living in the woods. So the night before my mom was set to be burned they stuck past the village lines and started walking towards my new familys house. After a fews years of living with my moms they taught me how to control my thirst for blood. So instead of drinking blood to survive I survive off of a potion called moonlights melody. Its made by taking a plant known as melodic moon blossom enchanting it with a spell of healing crushing it up and adding it to any drink of your choice. However if a human consumes it it can cause old wounds to open up head aches and even blood gathering in someomes lungs. This is because the potion is made to help vampires feel the same as if they would if they were drinking real blood and the feeling of that is far too much for a humans body to handle. However if a human wants to drink it the closest thing to it would be any blood thinner medication. (I got that from my mom dont attack me for the medication remark). However the drink its self tastes extremely sour when added to water. So my moms taught me that i could various flowers and potions to change the flavor! The drink its self is called moonlight melody but the changes with the flavor. For example adding an orange flavor would make the name Tangerine light. My favorite combination is probably strawberry melody. If you couldn't tell by the name its just added strawberry and nothing else but its still Delicious! Plus when a vampire goes even a year without blood means they gain the ability to turn into either a bat or a butterfly. I personally choose to turn into a butterfly because I get to choose my wing design and size unlike when i turn into a bat. Speaking of my butterfly form i should use it to go spy on that guy.
*5 minutes later as hes spying on said guy*
Thoughts: *mmm this guy seems to be a normal human not sure though. He could be a werewolf after all its hard to tell whose werewolf in the day time. Theres a higher chance that hes a human more then anything though. I know that because a werewolf would have a clan mark on the back of his neck. This man only has regular tattoos though and clan marks are normally either burned into someones skin or engraved on. And a sorcerer would have many more belongings then this man. I should know I am one after all. Once he finishes unpacking ill go talk to him.

Mmm time to go see if this guy is magic or not. As i drop down from the tree branch I was sitting on i try to stay as quite as possible. Right after i drop I walk up behind him and tap his shoulder. From the look of it i scared him since he jumped back when i touched him. "Hello! And dont be scared I'm only here as a friend." After i said this he gave me an odd look. "Jesus where did you come from?" "You dont need to know that information but sir what is your name?" Once I asked that he looked both scared and hesitant. "Uhh hunter what is your name?" "Calix or my full name calix emblz haren." Right after i said that I turned into my butterfly form and flew away as fast as I could so I could go have a drink of moonlight melody. After all I hadnt had anything to drink all day. So I went home to figure out more about this guy.
