Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: FEEDING THE ANOMALY

POV: HA-JOON — THE REGRESSOR

I woke up and my phone was a brick. My bank account was a string of zeros. My student ID didn't even beep when I swiped it at the cafeteria.

Typical Seo-jun. He wasn't just a King; he was a control freak with a god-complex. He was trying to "Ghost" me—erasing my existence so I'd have nowhere to go but his arms.

He forgot one thing: I've died 99 times. I'm already a ghost. Being alone doesn't scare me; it excites me.

I walked through the hallway. Students walked right through my personal space like I was made of air. A teacher I'd had for three months looked right at me and asked, "Are you a delivery driver? You're not on the roster."

I smirked. I could feel Seo-jun's eyes on me. He was watching through the security cameras, through the drones, through the very air I breathed. He wanted me to feel lonely. He wanted me to beg for recognition. He wanted to be the only one who could see me.

I saw him walking down the hall, looking like the God-King of the campus. He was surrounded by his 'knights.'

I didn't go to him. I went to his best friend, Jin-woo.

"Hey, Jin-woo. Remember our secret training session last night?" I lied, loud enough for Seo-jun's enhanced hearing to pick up.

Jin-woo blinked, his brain fighting the memory-wipe protocol Seo-jun had slammed into the school. "I... I think... why is my head spinning? Do I know you?"

I grabbed Jin-woo's tie and kissed him. Hard. Directly in the center of the hall.

[SYSTEM ALERT: JEALOUSY SPIKE DETECTED. EXECUTIONER MANA: 400% OVERFLOW.]

The hallway windows exploded outward from the pressure of his aura.

I didn't even have time to blink before Seo-jun was behind me. His hand clamped onto the back of my hair, yanking my head back so fast I saw stars.

"Locker room. Now," he growled. The floor under his boots began to crack and turn black from the sheer heat of his mana.

Inside the locker room, he activated a [VOID-BARRIER]. He slammed me into the metal lockers, the steel denting and groaning under the force. He ripped my shirt open, revealing the glowing violet 'Regression Marks' on my chest.

"You dare touch my assets?" His eyes were pitch black, no iris, no white. Just pure yandere void. "I made you a ghost so you would only look at me. You think you can play games with my subordinates?"

"I'm just a glitch, right?" I teased, blood dripping from my lip where he'd bitten me yesterday. "Glitches don't follow the rules of the King. They break them for fun."

He crushed his mouth against mine. It wasn't a kiss; it was a soul-raid. He bit my tongue, tasting the mana-heavy blood.

I moaned, my 'Pain System' hitting a new peak of energy conversion.

[POWER UP: 40%... 55%... 70%...]

"You're obsessed," I gasped into his mouth. "You're failing your mission. You're supposed to delete me, but you're marking me as your own property instead."

He pinned me to the floor, his hands bruising my hips. "I'll delete the world before I let you touch another. You're my anomaly. My ruin. I'm going to keep you until the System forces a hard reboot. You're never leaving this locker room."

HANA POV — I adjusted my cloaking device in the next aisle. "Ji-soo, the King is losing his mind," I whispered. "I'm using the stolen Shard to amplify his jealousy through the ventilation. It's working. The locker room is becoming a dimensional rift. We just need ten more minutes of their 'Toxic Love' to crack the school's Core. Let them choke each other while we get rich."]
