Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 The Palace of Feathers

Chapter 6 The Palace of Feathers

The golden pupils slowly lost their brilliant color.

The bloodline they once shared concealed its own secrets, and their greyish-white eyes reflected sorrowful words.

Although he had some difficulty seeing, Tima was very happy, as he had avoided what he considered a troublesome situation.

Above the clouds, he gripped the golden scepter tightly, observing the earth again and again.

Little did they know that Mother Earth was watching all of this.

Mother Earth misunderstood Cronus, but fate was the mastermind behind it all.

Gaia sighed, 'The march of fate will not cease; Cronus will ultimately step into his predetermined destiny.'

Gaia gazed into the darkness. 'My dear little sister, you are truly great.'

Thinking this to himself, he didn't put on a friendly expression, and a somber atmosphere permeated the temple of the earth.

But all of this is not something Tima can worry about right now.

Tima, whose eyesight was failing, sat upright on a sycamore branch, as if deep in thought.

"Kanalivie," Tima suddenly called out.

Canalivie was originally with Meris and the others, concerned about Tima's situation, but they dared not fly up without Tima's orders. So, upon hearing Tima's voice, Canalivie immediately flew towards the top of the tree.

"My lord." After flying up, Kanalivi bowed to Tima and then began to observe her.

"Kanalivie, I will build my temple nearby, and then I will seal it off to improve my divine power. During this period, you will be in charge of all affairs of the Feather Clan."

Tima stared blankly at Kanalivie, then parted her lips slightly.

"My lord, Kanalivie will do everything in her power to not disappoint you," Kanalivie immediately promised Tima.

But then he discovered that Tima's eyes were not well, and he felt a pang of sadness.

'Our lord bestowed his excellent divine eyes upon the birds, but he himself…' Kanalivi's resolve to protect Tima only strengthened.

Tima nodded slightly and then let Kanalivie leave.

Tima cannot see the sun, but she can feel its warmth.

The afterglow of the setting sun shone on Tima, but it deeply stung Tima's eyes.

As the moon approached night, Tima began construction of the temple.

Tima planned to build a temple around the tree he was standing in, a temple that resembled a treehouse.

It is built in a ring shape with the sycamore tree as the center.

Tima removed the surrounding sycamore trees and infused divine power into the central sycamore tree.

The sycamore tree sprouts branches, grows tall, and gradually becomes so large that it would take ten people to encircle it.

Then Tima transformed the removed sycamore trees into planks and, as he had planned, drove them to the designated location.

When the wooden planks became the walls of the temple.

The wooden planks also underwent a miraculous transformation.

Lifelike birds are carved on the wooden board.

All the birds flew toward the center, where in the very center was a five-colored divine bird, its body entirely golden and red.

It resembles a painting of a hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix.

The most amazing thing is that each bird looks like a living bird, flying freely on the wooden wall.

Tima infused it with divine power.

The shadows of each bird were projected directly above the temple, but only the phoenix truly appeared.

It soared into the air and landed on a sycamore tree.

The phoenix will not perch on anything but the parasol tree, nor will it drink anything but the morning dew.

Its god's name is Phoenix.

"Phoenix, I entrust my temple to your protection. Except for the bird, no one else is allowed to enter during my closure."

"Yes, my lord."

The phoenix god responded.

The temple that Tima built resembled a type of architecture from Tima's hometown in her previous life—a walled enclosure.

Tima reserved a small room for each of the bird species.

Images of each ethnic group are engraved on the doorway of their rooms.

At this moment, the sculpture appeared in Chaos's world for the first time.

This law bestowed upon the sculpture its divine nature.

The Palace of Feathers has been located in this mountain forest - Ridonbron ever since.

Tima then gained partial control over this territory.

A fluorescent green natural crystal appeared in Tima's hand.

Tima slowly walked into her temple.

He began to cultivate.

...

In the middle of the ocean, Doris and Nereus were together.

"Nereus, did you hear Tima's declaration?" Doris asked anxiously.

"Of course, Tima must have made this decision after careful consideration." Nereus was both impressed by Tima's determination and sympathetic towards her.

If Tima were not associated with the sky, like the Erinyaeus or Meliades, but merely a goddess of the white oak or a goddess of vengeance, she would not have suffered this treatment.

But Tima is not only a bird of the sky, but also a god who poses a threat to the very essence of the sky.

"Nereus, you said Tima gave her eyes to the Feathers, but what about herself? Could it be that she will never be able to see again?" Doris thought of Tima's bright eyes and worried for her friend.

Those eyes, brighter than the sun, are probably gone forever.

"Doris, things are probably as you guessed. Tima may never see us again, but it's his own choice, shouldn't we respect that?"

Upon hearing this, Doris was initially saddened, but after a while, she decided that she should support her friend's decision.
