Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 Lord of Wisdom

Chapter 29 Lord of Wisdom

The afterglow of the setting sun shone on the coast. Tima flew in the air and, seeing the goddess's wariness, immediately explained.

"I apologize for trespassing on your territory. I am Tima of the Flying Birds, and I am on a journey."

"I am aimless and have just drifted here by accident. You don't need to be so wary of me."

In the sky, Tima transformed into human form, his pure eyes conveying his explanation to the three goddesses.

The brown-haired goddess at the head of the group breathed a slight sigh of relief upon hearing Tima's name.

Doris tells us that Tima is a wise and helpful goddess.

If he really is Tima, there's no need to worry too much.

The blue-haired and purple-haired goddesses behind them exclaimed in surprise.

"You are Tima?! The resurrector of the earth, the ruler of the feathers!" the blue-haired goddess exclaimed, her eyes filled with respect.

The purple-haired goddess also stared at Tima, her eyes gleaming.

The leading goddess slowly bowed in respect.

"O restorer of the earth, praise your glory! Darling of the wind, please forgive our disrespect, and pardon the rudeness of Metis and her sisters." Thetis bowed her head and sincerely apologized.

Upon hearing Metis's words, Tima realized that it was this goddess.

"Creator of hydrology, master of wisdom, there's no need for that. Your achievements are so great, and your contributions to the world are so abundant that you deserve the respect of the gods. How could I possibly blame you?" Tima quickly replied to Metis.

As one of the three heirs to the Oceanic monarchy, Metis was naturally someone Tima would not antagonize.

Despite having some doubts about Tima's respectful demeanor, Metis remained silent.

The two goddesses surrounding Metis also quickly spoke up.

"Your Majesty, Lord of the Feathers, I am Perto, the goddess of persuasion. May the power of language forever be with you." The blue-haired goddess nodded.

When another goddess heard her sister introduce herself to Tima, she quickly introduced herself to Tima as well.

"Reviver of the earth, king of the flock of feathers, beloved of the wind, may flowers live on forever with you, I am Iant, the mistress of violets and purple clouds." The purple-haired goddess lifted her skirt and bowed to Tima.

Tima quickly returned the greeting.

"Lord of the Feathers, have you wandered here?" Metis asked Tima, a hint of doubt in her heart.

"Naturally, aimlessly, I wandered here from Lydon Brown."

Tima tossed his hair and replied awkwardly, after all, he had gotten lost again.

But you can't blame him for that; the land and sea of Chaos look pretty much the same.

Metis looked at Tima, lost in thought.

Not long ago, if she wasn't mistaken, one of the Feathered Ones had comprehended a divine spark on the wisdom side. Because the rank wasn't high, Metis hadn't paid much attention to it. Now that she saw Tima, she wanted to ask him some questions.

"Lord of the Feathers, I recently sensed that one of the Feathers has attained a divine spark of thought. Could you please introduce me to him?" Metis asked, looking into Tima's eyes.

Tima thought Metis would be angry about this, since they had invaded Metis's territory first.

"Don't be nervous. I'm happy about the development of wisdom. I don't blame the gods of thought," Metis comforted Tima when she saw that Tima hadn't answered for a long time.

To increase the credibility of her words, Metis made a declaration to Tima.

"Ravens will become a symbol of wisdom."

Tima was somewhat surprised.

The two had only just met when Metis made such a declaration.

"So, what do you want, Metis?"

"Please allow Kepaka to become my god, for wisdom cannot exist without the aid of thought," Metis immediately added.

She wanted to preserve the integrity of wisdom, to claim all of it as her own, just like Perto, who symbolized the charm of language.
