Against the Odds is an animated middle-grade adventure series following Eli Vance, a bookish 12-year-old who accidentally activates an ancient compass and gets pulled into the Veil — a crumbling multiverse of mythological dimensions (Norse, Greek, Egyptian, Aztec, and beyond).

Each episode drops Eli and his reluctant guide, Nyx (a wisecracking shape-shifter), into a new mythological world, while three deeper mysteries slowly build: who built the Compass, why it chose Eli, and the creeping truth that his entire existence was orchestrated by forces in the Veil. Over three seasons, the stakes escalate from survival to an all-out battle to save the multiverse itself.

It's a show about a kid with no business being a hero — choosing to be one anyway.
