🌙 Chapter 2: The Strange Dream

The mountain appeared again.

This time, it was clearer.

Aarav stood at its base, his feet bare against the cold stone. The air was thin, and the sky above was filled with countless stars. He could hear the wind whispering his name—not loudly, but gently, as if it had been waiting for him for a very long time.

"Aarav…"

He turned around quickly, but there was no one.

His heart began to race. The mountain was enormous, far taller than anything he had ever seen. Its peak disappeared into silver clouds, glowing faintly in the moonlight.

Then he saw the figure.

At the very top, someone stood motionless.

A tall silhouette. Calm. Watching.

Aarav could not see the face, but he felt something deep inside his soul—a strange mixture of fear, peace, and familiarity.

Without knowing why, he began to climb.

Each step felt heavy, as if the mountain was testing him. The wind grew stronger. His body grew weaker. But something inside him refused to stop.

Halfway up, he heard the voice again.

"Why have you come?"

The voice did not come from outside. It came from within him.

"I… I don't know," Aarav replied.

Silence followed.

Then the voice spoke again.

"You were called."

Suddenly, the figure at the top raised its hand.

A bright light burst across the sky.

Aarav felt himself falling.

Falling into darkness.

He woke up, gasping for breath.

His room was quiet. His body was covered in sweat. His heart pounded like a drum.

It was just a dream.

But it did not feel like a dream.

And for the first time in his life, Aarav felt certain of one thing—

The mountain was real.

And it was waiting for him
