Chapter 2 - Part 2: Acceleration (The Shared Rhythm)

Liam insisted on buying Maya a 'counter-adrenaline' coffee. That coffee turned into dinner, and dinner turned into an inseparable blur of months.

The braking incident became their joke. Maya taught Liam to appreciate the stillness needed for restoration; Liam taught Maya how to take a corner at speed. The image of their meeting—the sudden, wet halt—was frozen in time, but their life together was gaining tremendous speed.

They were in motion, synchronized. This image captures that acceleration. They are laughing, running together through the city after a gallery opening, perfectly in step. It was no longer about near-misses; it was about the exhilarating velocity of shared joy.
