Chapter 75 - 75

[Prompt: Check-in successful! You have obtained a second system—Attribute Plunder System! Activate now?]

"Attribute plunder?"

"Hahaha, this check-in didn't let me down!"

Lin Bei couldn't help grinning as he read the prompt floating in front of him.

"Activate it immediately."

Without a second word, Lin Bei activated the system.

[Prompt: Attribute Plunder System activated!]

[Prompt: Whenever the host kills any living being, you may plunder the residual attribute power in the target to boost yourself, with zero side effects.]

"Simple and brutal—I love it!"

Lin Bei's smile was radiant.

He only wondered whether the Attribute Plunder System and the Critical Hit System could stack. If they could… plunder plus crit on the gained attributes—just thinking about it thrilled him!

"Mmm… I'll head into the Underworld later and test it out."

"But now that I have the plunder system, my Hunter title feels a bit useless."

"As for the title's built-in killing-intent perception—I have Super Intuition, which is a straight upgrade. And now with attribute plunder I can boost stats directly, instead of slowly absorbing Qi and Blood Power through training."

"Does that mean… my title's obsolete?"

Lin Bei felt somewhat helpless.

"Then again, if plunder and crit can't work together, the Hunter title still has value."

"At the very least… the Qi and Blood Power gained via the Hunter title can trigger a Critical Hit after training and absorption."

Lin Bei mused inwardly.

But he would have to test it before deciding.

"Pity titles can't be traded or rented; otherwise I could earn some primal stones."

Lin Bei shook his head, then glanced at the remaining hour-plus of his Super Luck status.

"Still plenty of time—might as well go big!"

He opened his Attribute Panel and looked at every skill under his class.

Super Intuition had already maxed out; the rest still had room to grow.

So he planned to use the remaining Class Forgetting Scrolls while Super Luck was active and 'respec' himself.

"But before that… I need to lie down in a Healing Pod first."

He hadn't forgotten that his Martial Arts Master skill could raise the Combat Power gained per level-up, so to avoid accidents he had to prepare in advance.

"But… is a Perfect Quality Healing Pod really safe enough now?"

Lin Bei hesitated, then tried his luck and opened his storage space, hoping to find a higher-quality Healing Pod among yesterday's treasure chests.

After all, the minimum was a thousand-fold crit; if he triggered a Quality Critical Hit, Fine chests could also yield Transcendent items based on past experience.

Among the chests he'd opened yesterday, over eight hundred were Fine quality or above—pretty good odds.

Sadly, the sheer number of items flooded his vision with colored lights, dazzling him.

He had to use the search function and type in the keyword "Healing Pod."

The storage interface refreshed, displaying three kinds of Healing Pods.

The lowest quality among them was Perfect!

The other two were Transcendent and Epic quality Healing Pods.

But he couldn't afford the Epic one—it required supreme quality primordial stones as fuel, and Lin Bei himself was short on those; wasting them was out of the question.

Fortunately, the Transcendent Healing Pod was more than enough for now, needing only some high-grade prime stones as fuel—an expense he could cover.

So he casually took out a Transcendent Healing Pod.

Calling it a pod was generous—it was practically a healing house, larger than the Small Wooden Houses he'd sold to other Survivors.

The sci-fi metallic surface pulsed like breathing, and the pod was ringed with intricate, peculiar patterns that looked like circuits yet also like the formation runes mentioned in novels.

Those patterns flashed streams of light in sync with the pod's glow, as if blood flowed through vessels, brimming with vitality.

"Alright, time to respec!"

To be safe, Lin Bei opened the energy compartment and loaded more than a hundred high-grade prime stones before stepping inside and sealing the hatch.

But when he opened the pod door, his eyes showed surprise.

Because inside the Healing Pod, there were actually three full spots.

It was clear that one Transcendent Quality Healing Pod could accommodate three people at the same time for simultaneous treatment.

"Not bad, but for me, one spot is enough."

Lin Bei lay down directly in the center spot, then closed the pod door, took out one Class Forgetting Scroll after another, and began his grand "reset" plan!

[Prompt: You triggered a 10,000x Critical Hit effect!]

[Prompt: Your skill "Martial Arts Mastery" advanced to "Martial Arts God"!]

[Prompt: You triggered a 10,000x Critical Hit effect!]

[Prompt: Your skill "Burst Force" advanced to "Annihilation"!]

[Prompt: You triggered a 10,000x Critical Hit effect!]

[Prompt: Your skill "Potential Burst" advanced to "Ascension"!]

[Prompt: You triggered a 10,000x Critical Hit effect!]

[Prompt: Your skill "Combat Intuition" advanced to "Super Intuition"!]

[Prompt: Your skill "Fiercer With Every Fight" advanced to "Berserker"!]

[Prompt: Detecting that you simultaneously possess "Martial Arts God", "Super Intuition", and "Berserker", the three skills trigger the "Integration" effect, fusing and advancing into a brand-new skill—"War God"!]

[Prompt: Detecting that you simultaneously possess "Ammunition Mastery (Transcendent)" and "Ammunition Expert (Transcendent)", the two skills trigger the "Integration" effect, fusing and advancing into a brand-new skill—"Ammunition Dominator"!]

[Prompt: Because of your extraordinary talent, you have unlocked a brand-new hidden class advancement path! Please check it in time!]

Lin Bei spent a full hour, burning over ten thousand primal stones and more than five hundred Class Forgetting Scrolls, to finally reroll every pre-level-40 skill to its highest tier.

At the same time, he triggered hidden conditions, causing many skills to fuse and advance directly, pushing his strength another step forward.

He also unlocked the advancement route of the hidden class.

But before he could check it, he suddenly felt power surging inside him, beginning to skyrocket out of control!

[Prompt: As a War God, every level-up grants you more than 100× the attributes of others!]

The prompt vanished in an instant; the next second, the stats he had missed from level 1 to 60 began to be made up right now!

[Prompt: Your Combat Power increased by 100!]

[Prompt: You triggered a 1,000× Critical Hit! Your Combat Power increased by 100,000!]

...This is the Combat Power compensation for levels 1–10.

[Prompt: Your Combat Power increased by 200!]

[Prompt: You triggered a 1,000× Critical Hit! Your Combat Power increased by 200,000!]

...This is the Combat Power compensation for levels 11–20...[Prompt: Your Combat Power increased by 400!]

[Prompt: You triggered a 1,000× Critical Hit! Your Combat Power increased by 400,000!]

...[Prompt: Your Combat Power increased by 800,000!]

...[Prompt: Your Combat Power increased by 1,600,000!]

...[Prompt: Your Combat Power increased by 3,200,000!]

...And so, Lin Bei once again passed out from the tearing agony inside his body.

Fortunately, the Transcendent Quality Healing Pod was powerful enough; running at full capacity, Lin Bei's body remained safe and sound.

As his consciousness faded, Lin Bei sighed inwardly, "Sigh, who knows how many days I'll sleep this time... how helpless."

He really wanted to complain.

Since arriving in the Survival World, the total time he'd spent asleep probably added up to four days—more than half of his entire survival duration.

"As expected... growth is just that brutal."

"Hope I wake up early this time."

Lin Bei's consciousness sank into darkness.

Dreams... slowly enveloped his Spirit.

This time, he had another very, very long dream.

But unlike before, in this dream he directly transformed into Thanos; with one snap... he actually broke his own finger.

Then came the merciless mockery of Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, and finally the Calabash Brothers turned into Mount Five-Fingers and sealed him beneath it, waiting five hundred years for Monk·Luffy to appear, rescue him from misery, pilot a starship into the depths of the starry sky to search for the One Piece, defeat a bunch of enemies along the way, and ultimately achieve his wish—becoming... the man of the Starry Sky King.

Well... in short, it was... pretty dreamy.
