Page 1: The First Meeting
In the small town of Serampore, rainy days always felt magical. Dark clouds covered the sky, a soft mist floated near the Ganges River, and the smell of wet earth filled the air. It was on such a day that Arnav and Meghla first met.
Arnav had come from Kolkata to stay at his uncle's house for a few days. He wanted a break from the busy city life. Meghla, on the other hand, was a second-year college student in Serampore. She loved singing and writing poetry.
That evening, Meghla was standing by the riverbank, watching the rain. She held a diary in her hand. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew a few pages out of her diary. The pages landed near Arnav's feet.
He picked them up and noticed a poem written on one of them:
"If you are the rain,
I will be the thirsty earth,
Awakened by your gentle touch,
Blooming with hidden feelings."
Arnav looked at her and asked softly, "Did you write this?"
Meghla nodded shyly.
The rain grew heavier, but between them, a quiet connection began to form. That simple conversation marked the beginning of their story.
