Episode 1 —

🌊 Chapter 1 – The Trip

It was a normal day.

The hero and his friends from university were told they would visit a hospital.

The heroine and her friends were also coming.

They didn't know each other.

They had never seen each other before.

At the hospital, the manager said:

"Guys! Let's have some fun. This is not only hospital work — we're going on a trip!"

Everyone was surprised.

Soon, they were at the airport. āœˆļø

Laughing. Talking. Taking photos.

Finally, they arrived at an island.

šŸļø The Island City

The island looked beautiful — like a small city near the sea.

They went to an apartment to stay.

But there was a problem.

There were not enough rooms.

So everyone had to stay together in one large room.

Some were laughing.

Some were complaining.

The heroine quietly went to one side and lay down to sleep.

The hero sat on the other side.

At night… it was silent.

He looked across the room…

And he saw her.

She was sleeping peacefully.

For the first time, he really looked at her face

He froze

šŸŒ… Scene – The Morning Everything Changed

Everyone was still sleeping.

In the middle of the night, a strange sound came from outside.

The hero and heroine woke up with the others.

Someone said lazily,

"It's just some sound… go back to sleep."

Slowly, everyone lay down again.

Only the hero felt something was wrong.

But after some time… he also closed his eyes.

Morning came.

Soft sunlight entered the room.

The heroine woke up early. She quietly sat up so no one would notice her. She changed her outfit and got ready to go outside to eat something.

One by one, the others woke up.

The hero also woke up.

For the first time, the heroine really looked at him.

He looked quite handsome in the morning light.

Her heart suddenly felt strange.

Why is my heart beating like this? she thought.

But she quickly looked away.

She is always silent.

She likes to stay alone.

Her friends always bully her, whispering and laughing at her.

So she never talks much.

She slowly walked to the door and opened it.

outside she saw another room and the long hallway at first it looked normal then suddenly people started running screaming crying the hallway filled with her age looked she looked carefully the people outside were changing their faces looked pale and scary thier moments were not normal they were turning into zombies Her body froze

One zombie suddenly noticed her it started running toward her closer

Closer 😱

She couldn't move

Her heart stopped

Just when hand grabbed her arm it was the hero He pulled her inside quickly and slammed the door shut... The zombie hit the door hard

Bang! 😱 Everyone inside started screaming the heronie was breathing heavily. He looked at her and said "are you okay" for a moment thir eyes met. Outside the zombie were still screaming inside everything had changed

The heroine slowly nodded.

"Y-Yes… I am okay…"

The zombie outside suddenly ran in another direction.

Everyone quickly pushed the sofa, table, and chairs against the door to block it.

The hero and another boy were breathing fast.

One boy said,

"It's a zombie!"

Everyone shouted,

"Are you kidding us?! Zombies are only in movies!"

But outside, the screaming didn't stop.

The sounds were real.

The fear was real.

Slowly… everyone understood.

This was not a joke.

This was not a movie.

This was real.

They checked their phones.

No internet.

No signal.

The power suddenly went off.

The room became dark and quiet.

There was only some water bottles.

No food.

Panic started growing.

Outside, they could see some people running for their lives.

Some were crying.

Some were being chased.

Suddenly—

They heard voices from the hallway.

A girl was crying loudly.

There was also a pregnant woman.

Her husband was trying to protect her.

And four boys were running with them.

They were knocking on doors, shouting

shouting for help.

"Please open! Please help us!"

Inside the apartment, everyone looked at each other.

If they open the door… zombies might come in.

If they don't open… those people may die.

The heroine looked at the hero.

The hero looked at the door.

The knocking became louder.

The pregnant woman screamed.

Hero hold her heroine hands.

She feel warm.

For the first time since everything started… she didn't feel alone.

They walk slowly in the hallway.

Everyone is quiet.

Only the sound of footsteps.

The lights are off.

The hallway is dark.

Suddenly—

They hear a noise from far away.

Like something hitting the wall.

Everyone stop walking.

No one move.

The pregnant woman breathe heavily.

Her husband hold her close.

The bad boy look around nervously.

The hero gently squeeze the heroine's hand.

She look at him.

He whisper,

"Don't be scared."

They slowly reach another room.

The door is half open.

Inside, it looks empty.

They all quickly go inside.

The hero close the door softly.

Everyone stand still.

Listening.

Outside… the sound is getting closer.

And then—

It suddenly stop.

Silence.

Only their breathing.

Everyone quickly blocked the door with a table and chairs.

They looked around the room.

There were food packets.

Water bottles.

Some canned food.

Everyone felt a little relief.

They slowly sat down.

Some started drinking water.

Some were still shaking.

Then—

The bad boy looked at the heroine.

He called her.

"Hey."

She looked at him quietly.

"What?"

He smirked.

"You're pretty much."

She didn't answer.

She looked away.

The hero noticed.

The bad boy called her again, louder.

"You're hot… sexy."

The room became silent.

The hero's face changed.

His eyes turned cold.

He stood up.

"Watch your mouth."

The bad boy laughed.

"Why? She's not yours."

The hero suddenly grabbed his collar.

They started fighting.

Others rushed to separate them.

The heroine started crying.

Her bully friends were whispering and laughing instead of helping.

One girl, who secretly liked the hero, looked jealous and angry.

Finally, they pulled the two boys apart.

The hero walked straight to the heroine

She was still crying

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End

Scene: Quiet Corner

The room was still noisy.

Some were eating quickly.

Some were whispering.

The couple was arguing softly.

The pregnant woman was resting against the wall.

But in the far corner of the room…

It was quiet.

The heroine was wiping her tears.

The hero stood in front of her, not too close… not too far.

He didn't look angry anymore.

He looked worried.

"You don't deserve that," he said softly.

She didn't answer.

She wasn't used to someone defending her.

He slowly sat down beside her.

Not touching her.

Just sitting there.

"Are you scared?" he asked.

She nodded a little.

He smiled gently.

"It's okay. I'm scared too."

She looked at him, surprised.

He laughed quietly.

"But if I show it, everyone will panic."

For the first time… she gave a very small smile.

Very small.

But real.

Outside the door—

Something scratched slowly.

They both froze.

The sound stopped.

Silence.

The hero looked at her again

"No matter what happens… don't walk alone."

He slowly reached out his hand.

Not forcing.

Just offering.

And She was still looking at his hand.

Slowly…

Very slowly…

She placed her hand in his.

Her fingers were cold.

His were warm.

For a second, the world felt quiet.

Safe.

But—

From across the room…

Someone was watching.

The jealous girl.

Her eyes were sharp.

She saw their hands.

She saw the way he was looking at the heroine.

Her jaw tightened.

She stood up suddenly.

"What are you two doing?" she said loudly.

Everyone turned to look.

The heroine quickly tried to pull her hand back.

But the hero didn't let go immediately.

He looked at the jealous girl calmly.

"Nothing."

The jealous girl walked closer.

"In this situation? You're flirting?"

The heroine's face turned red.

Her bully friends started whispering again.

The heroine felt small.

Embarrassed.

Her hand started shaking in his.

And then—

A loud BANG hit the door.

Everyone screamed.

Another bang.

The table blocking the door moved slightly.

The scratching sound came back.

But louder.

Harder.

More violent.

The pregnant woman started crying.

"They found us…"

The bad boy grabbed something heavy.

The lights flickered once… twice…

Then complete darkness.

Only emergency red light from outside the window.

The banging became aggressive.

Wood cracking.

The jealous girl stepped back in fear.

Instinctively—

The hero pulled the heroine closer to him.

She could hear his heartbeat.

Fast.

Strong.

Scared.

But he didn't let go.

The door started splitting.

A thin hand pushed through the crack.

Fingers twisted.

Skin pale.

Blood on the nails.

The heroine gasped softly.

The hero whispered near her ear,

"Stay behind me."

Her eyes filled with tears again.

Not because of fear.

But because someone was choosing to protect her.

Even at the end of the world.

Another loud CRACK.

The door was about to break.

And the jealous girl suddenly screamed—

Because something cold touched her ankle from behind.

The jealous girl screamed.

Everyone turned.

But it wasn't a zombie.

A broken metal pipe had fallen and touched her ankle.

She panicked and started crying.

But the door—

The door cracked open.

A pale hand pushed through again.

The wood splintered.

The hero grabbed a heavy chair.

"Move back!" he shouted.

The pregnant woman's husband held her tightly, protecting her belly.

The heroine quickly rushed to the pregnant woman.

"Sit down. Stay calm. Don't stand," she said softly.

Even in fear, her doctor side came out.

Another crash.

The door broke halfway.

Two zombies forced their heads through the gap, growling.

The bad boy froze.

The bully friends screamed.

The hero stepped forward

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End – The Door Breaks

The hero stepped forward.

The chair came down hard.

CRACK.

One zombie's head twisted unnaturally and dropped back through the broken wood. But the second one pushed harder, teeth snapping, fingers clawing through the gap.

"Push the table!" he shouted.

The bad boy finally moved, slamming his shoulder against the furniture. The jealous girl, still shaking, helped too.

The heroine stayed beside the pregnant woman, her voice steady even though her hands trembled.

"Breathe with me. In… out… don't look at them."

Another violent crash.

The entire door gave in.

Three zombies stumbled inside.

Not slow.

Not confused.

Fast.

Hungry.

The hero swung again, but one zombie lunged past him—

Straight toward the heroine.

Time slowed.

She froze for half a second.

Then—

The hero grabbed the zombie from behind and dragged it back, slamming it against the wall so hard the frame cracked.

But in the struggle—

Its teeth grazed his arm

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End

The Red Light Decision

The hero watched her.

In that red emergency light…

she didn't look weak anymore.

She looked steady.

Brave.

Different.

Outside the cupboard, something dragged slowly across the broken door.

Not banging.

Not screaming.

Just… dragging.

Like it was thinking.

The room stayed silent.

The pregnant woman's breathing slowly calmed. The husband kept whispering to her.

The bad boy sat on the floor, staring at his hands.

The jealous girl avoided everyone's eyes.

The heroine stood up slowly.

"We can't stay here," she said quietly.

Everyone looked at her.

Not the hero.

Everyone.

"There's food here," one of the bully friends argued weakly.

"And one door," she replied softly. "One broken door."

Silence.

The hero stepped beside her.

"There's a service staircase at the end of this floor," he said. "I saw it earlier when we came."

"You went exploring?" the bad boy asked.

"I always look for exits."

A low thud echoed from the hallway.

Closer.

The cupboard trembled slightly.

The pregnant woman winced suddenly, holding her stomach.

The heroine noticed immediately.

"Are you okay?"

"It's just stress," the husband said quickly.

But the heroine wasn't convinced.

She looked at the hero.

"We have to move before she can't."

Another scratch at the door.

Slower.

Intentional.

The hero grabbed the metal rod from her hand gently.

"You stay close to me."

She didn't argue this time.

He looked around at everyone.

"No running alone. No screaming. If something happens, protect the pregnant woman first."

The bad boy nodded seriously now.

The jealous girl swallowed and stepped closer to the group.

The hero slowly pulled the cupboard away.

Everyone held their breath.

He opened the door just enough to look out.

The hallway was empty.

Too empty.

The red lights flickered above.

"Now," he whispered.

They moved.

Slow steps.

Shoes barely making sound.

The pregnant woman walked between the heroine and her husband.

The hero walked in front.

Halfway down the hallway—

A shape moved at the far end.

Not stumbling.

Standing.

Watching.

Its head tilted again.

And then—

It stepped back into the shadows.

The hero stopped.

"That's not normal," the bad boy whispered.

The emergency alarm suddenly blared again.

Flashing lights.

From the stairwell—

Footsteps.

Many.

Fast.

The hero turned sharply.

"They're herding us."

Before anyone could react—

Zombies flooded from both ends of the corridor.

Screams filled the hallway.

"STAIRS!" the hero shouted.

They ran.

The pregnant woman nearly stumbled, but the heroine caught her.

The hero swung the rod, clearing a path.

One zombie grabbed his shoulder—

He slammed it into the wall, but it scraped his arm again.

Blood

Fresh

He ignored it.

They reached the stairwell.

The hero forced the door open.

Everyone rushed inside.

He slammed it shut behind them.

But from below—

Heavy footsteps.

Slower.

Heavier.

The entire stairwell vibrated.

Something was climbing up.

Not running.

Ascending.

Deliberate.

The hero looked down the spiral staircase.

Darkness below.

Then—

Two pale eyes opened in the shadows.

And a low, deep growl echoed upward.

Not wild.

Controlled.

The heroine grabbed his sleeve.

"Is that…?"

He didn't answer.

He just tightened his grip on the rod.

"It's coming," he said quietly

šŸŒ‘āœØ Between Us and the End

(Stairwell Battle → Rooftop Escape → Rescue Signal)

The stairwell smelled like rust and dust.

Heavy footsteps echoed from below.

Slow.

Powerful.

Not running.

Climbing.

The hero tightened his grip on the metal rod.

"Stay behind me," he said.

The heroine didn't argue this time.

She moved closer.

Close enough to feel his warmth through the fear.

Then—

A shadow lunged from below.

The first zombie slammed into the railing, clawing upward.

The hero struck hard.

It fell.

But more followed.

From above—

Another crash.

Zombies were coming down too.

They were trapped between two waves.

"Up!" he shouted.

They ran higher.

The pregnant woman struggled, breathing hard.

The heroine wrapped an arm around her waist.

"You can do this. Just a little more."

A zombie grabbed the bad boy's shirt—

He panicked—

The hero turned back, slammed it off him, and shoved him upward.

"Don't freeze!"

But in that second—

One zombie managed to bite toward the hero's arm again.

It tore his sleeve.

A shallow wound.

Blood ran down.

The heroine saw it.

Her heart stopped.

He saw her expression.

"I'm fine," he breathed.

She didn't believe him.

But she kept running.

Finally—

The rooftop door.

Locked.

The hero kicked it once.

Twice.

Zombies were seconds away.

The jealous girl screamed.

The husband pushed the pregnant woman against the wall to shield her.

"Move!" the hero shouted.

He stepped back and kicked again—

The door burst open.

Cold wind hit their faces.

They rushed onto the rooftop.

The city below was chaos.

Smoke rising.

Screams far away.

The sea surrounding the island looked dark and endless.

But—

In the sky—

A faint helicopter sound.

Far.

Very far.

Hope.

The zombies began pouring out onto the rooftop.

Too many.

The hero turned, fighting at the edge while the others moved toward the center.

The heroine grabbed a flare gun from an emergency box near the door.

Her hands trembled.

She looked at him.

He was bleeding.

Breathing hard.

Still standing.

Still protecting.

"Cover me!" she shouted.

He didn't question.

He swung again, blocking the closest zombie.

She aimed the flare into the sky—

And fired.

A bright red flame shot upward.

Burning against the gray sky.

For a moment—

Everything felt silent.

Then—

The helicopter sound grew louder.

It had seen them.

The hero stumbled slightly.

The heroine rushed to him.

"You're hurt."

"It's nothing," he said again, but his voice was weaker now.

She grabbed his shirt.

Tears in her eyes.

"Don't lie to me."

Zombies were still crawling onto the roof.

The helicopter approached, but couldn't land fully.

A rope ladder dropped.

"Go!" he said.

"Not without you!"

The pregnant woman and her husband climbed first with help from the others.

The bad boy went next.

The jealous girl hesitated—

But climbed.

Only the hero and heroine remained.

A zombie lunged—

He pushed it back, but it knocked him to one knee.

"Go!" he shouted at her.

She didn't move.

Instead—

She grabbed his face with both hands.

Her forehead pressed against his.

"If you fall," she whispered through tears, "I fall."

His breath shook.

In the middle of chaos.

In the middle of the end.

He finally said it.

"I didn't protect you because I felt responsible."

He swallowed.

"I protected you because I love you."

The words felt heavier than the zombies around them.

Her eyes widened.

She smiled through tears.

"I know."

A gunshot from the helicopter cleared the nearest zombie.

"NOW!" someone screamed from above.

She helped him up.

They ran together.

He climbed first this time.

Then he reached down for her.

Their fingers locked tightly.

As the helicopter lifted—

Zombies reached the edge—

Missing them by inches.

The rooftop grew smaller beneath them.

The island burned below.

Inside the helicopter—

She pressed her hand over his bleeding arm.

"I'm not letting you disappear," she whispered.

He leaned his forehead against hers.

"Even at the end of the world,,

"I he said softly,

"I choose you."

šŸŒ‘āœØ Between Us and the End – The Quarantine Arc Begins

The helicopter cut through the smoky sky.

Below them, the island grew smaller.

Inside, no one spoke.

Only the loud engine… and the sound of the hero's uneven breathing.

The heroine pressed cloth against his bleeding arm.

"Stay awake," she whispered.

He looked at her faintly. "You're ordering me now?"

Her eyes filled. "Yes."

For the first time… he smiled weakly and obeyed.

---

šŸ•ļø Arrival – The Quarantine Zone

The helicopter landed at a massive military base near the mainland coast.

High fences.

Floodlights.

Soldiers in protective suits.

They were rushed inside separate lines.

"Anyone bitten?" a soldier demanded.

The husband shouted, "No! No bites!"

A medic grabbed the hero's arm.

"What happened?"

"Scratched," he replied calmly.

The heroine immediately stepped forward.

"It was through clothing. No deep puncture."

The medic examined it.

Clean cut. No infection signs.

But a soldier nearby didn't look convinced.

"Take him for observation."

The heroine's heart dropped.

"I'm going with him."

"No civilians allowed inside medical isolation."

She grabbed the hero's hand tightly.

For a moment, he thought they would pull her away.

Instead—

He squeezed her fingers gently.

"I'll come back."

She whispered fiercely,

"You better."

---

šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļø The Secret

While waiting in the holding area, the heroine overheard two officers talking quietly behind a glass wall.

"…the island outbreak spread faster than predicted…"

"…the mutation phase began in less than 24 hours…"

"…we didn't expect cognitive coordination this early…"

Her stomach tightened.

Mutation phase?

Predicted?

She slowly realized—

This wasn't random.

This wasn't just nature.

Someone had been studying this.

Maybe even testing it.

---

🧬 Meanwhile – In Isolation

The hero sat alone in a white room.

Bright lights.

Cold metal chair.

Doctors scanned his wound.

One scientist frowned.

"Interesting…"

"His blood markers are stable."

"But his immune response is… elevated."

Not infected.

But reacting.

Different.

---

šŸ”„ Emotional Tension

Hours later, he was finally released back into the civilian quarantine hall.

The heroine saw him from across the room.

She ran to him.

Not caring who was watching.

She hugged him tightly.

For a second—

He forgot about the soldiers.

The outbreak.

The evolving zombies.

He wrapped his arms around her.

"I told you," he whispered against her hair.

"I'd come back."

She pulled away slightly.

"Don't make promises like that unless you mean forever."

He looked at her seriously now.

"I do."

Across the hall—

The jealous girl watched.

Her expression unreadable.

Jealousy hadn't disappeared.

It had just become quieter.

More dangerous.

---

🧟 The Twist

Suddenly—

An alarm sounded across the base.

Red lights flashing.

Soldiers running.

A loud announcement:

"Sector 3 breach! Repeat — Sector 3 breach!"

Screaming echoed from outside the hall.

Through the glass windows—

They saw something impossible.

Zombies.

Inside the military perimeter.

Moving together.

Not attacking randomly.

Walking with purpose.

And at the front—

That same tall figure with pale, still eyes.

Watching.

Like it remembered them.

The heroine felt chills.

"They followed us…"

The hero's jaw tightened.

"No."

He stared at the figure.

"They were waiting."

The fences shook as the pack moved in sync.

Coordinated.

Smarter.

The soldiers began firing.

But the zombies didn't scatter.

They adapted.

The outbreak wasn't contained.

It was evolving.

And now—

It had reached the mainland.

šŸŒ‘āœØ Between Us and the End – The Mainland Breach

The alarm screamed across the base.

"Sector 3 breach! All civilians move!"

Gunfire echoed.

Through the glass walls, they saw them—

Zombies moving in formation.

Not sprinting wildly.

Advancing.

Together.

At the front—

That tall, still figure.

Watching.

The heroine's fingers tightened around the hero's sleeve.

"They're inside…"

A soldier grabbed their group. "Storage block! Now!"

They ran through metal corridors.

The pregnant woman struggled, but the husband and heroine supported her on both sides.

The jealous girl followed silently.

The bad boy kept looking back.

Behind them—

Screams.

Metal doors slamming.

Gunshots.

And then—

Silence.

Too fast.

Too organized.

---

🧱 The Safe Room

They reached a reinforced supply room.

Thick steel door.

Small window.

Emergency rations stacked inside.

"Stay here!" a soldier shouted, locking them in from outside.

The room dimmed to backup lights.

Everyone stood frozen.

Breathing hard.

Then—

Through the small wired window—

They saw movement in the hallway.

Zombies walking past.

Not attacking the door.

Not rushing.

Scanning.

One paused.

Turned its head slowly.

Looking directly at their window.

The heroine's heart dropped.

"It knows…"

The hero stepped in front of her.

The zombie tapped the wall once.

Softly.

Then continued walking.

Like it was reporting.

---

šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļø Government Secret

Voices crackled through a broken intercom in the room.

"…mutation accelerated beyond projected stage…"

"…subject immune variance detected…"

"…blood sample from male survivor shows resistance markers…"

The heroine looked at him slowly.

He looked back at her.

"What resistance?"

The intercom hissed again.

"…original virus strain was a behavioral enhancement project… intended for military regeneration…"

"…cognitive retention was not supposed to persist…"

The bad boy whispered, "They made this?"

The jealous girl's face went pale.

Outside—

Heavy footsteps.

Not many.

Just one.

Slow.

Intentional.

The tall figure stopped outside their door.

Its pale eyes visible through the wired glass.

Watching them.

Studying.

---

🧠 The Blood

The hero felt dizzy suddenly.

He leaned slightly against the wall.

The heroine noticed instantly.

"Hey— look at me."

"I'm fine," he said… but his breathing was uneven.

His wound wasn't black.

Not infected.

But faint red lines spread slightly around it.

Not rot.

Something else.

The intercom crackled again—

"…if subject adapts, immunity integration possible…"

"…retrieve him at all costs…"

Retrieve him?

The heroine's stomach dropped.

"They want you."

Outside—

The tall zombie placed its hand on the metal door.

Didn't slam it.

Didn't claw it.

Just rested it there.

As if sensing him inside.

---

šŸ’” Jealous Decision

The jealous girl slowly stepped back.

Eyes shifting between the hero and the door.

"If the zombies are reacting to him…" she whispered.

Silence filled the room.

The bad boy looked at her sharply.

"Don't even think about it."

She looked torn.

Scared.

Cornered.

"If he's the reason they're here…"

The heroine stepped in front of him instantly.

"He's the reason we're alive."

The hero gently touched her shoulder.

"Stop."

He looked at everyone calmly.

"If they want me… maybe I can draw them away."

"No," she said immediately.

He turned to her.

Soft now.

Not leader.

Not fighter.

Just him.

"If my blood is different… that means this isn't just survival anymore."

Her eyes filled.

"I just got you."

Outside—

The tall figure suddenly struck the metal door.

BOOM.

The entire room shook.

The pack began gathering.

Not chaotic.

Forming.

Preparing.

The military gunfire outside had stopped.

Completely.

The base had fallen.

They were alone.

The hero cupped her face gently.

In the dim emergency light.

"If this is bigger than us… we face it together."

She grabbed his shirt tightly.

"No sacrificing yourself. That's not romantic."

Despite everything—

He almost laughed.

The door dented inward.

Another hit.

Harder.

The pregnant woman cried softly.

The husband held her.

The bad boy braced a shelf against the door.

The jealous girl stood frozen.

The heroine pressed her forehead to his.

"Promise me," she whispered.

"Whatever happens—"

"We don't run in different directions."

He nodded.

"Together."

The metal door began to tear.

And outside—

The tall figure's eyes glowed faintly red in the darkness.

Not mindless.

Not dead.

Evolving.

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End – Lines Crossed

The metal door shook again.

BOOM.

Dust fell from the ceiling.

Everyone flinched.

The jealous boy — shaken, scared, trying to act tough — suddenly laughed nervously.

"Wow… end of the world and you two are still holding hands."

No one answered.

Then he looked at the heroine.

His voice turned ugly.

"Hey… since we might die anyway… why act shy? Come on."

The room went still.

The heroine froze.

The hero's grip on the metal rod tightened.

The jealous boy stepped closer, smirking to hide his fear.

"What? You think he owns you?"

Before he could say another word—

The hero moved.

Fast.

He grabbed his collar and slammed him against the wall — not wild, not out of control — but controlled rage.

His voice was low.

Dangerously calm.

"You will never speak to her like that again."

The jealous boy swallowed.

The room was silent except for the banging on the door.

The hero leaned closer, eyes cold.

"We're fighting monsters outside. Don't become one inside."

He let go.

The jealous boy slid down the wall, shaken.

The heroine stared at him.

Not scared of him.

But overwhelmed.

He turned to her immediately.

Soft again.

"Did he touch you?"

She shook her head.

Tears filled her eyes — not from fear.

From the fact that someone chose her. Defended her. Without hesitation.

Outside—

CRACK.

The door bent inward.

The tall evolved zombie struck again.

BOOM.

The shelf holding the door shook violently.

The hero stepped back beside her.

He gently brushed a strand of hair from her face.

"You don't ever have to shrink yourself," he whispered.

Another impact.

Metal tearing.

She grabbed his shirt.

"Don't get hurt again."

He leaned closer.

"If I bleed, I bleed protecting you."

Her heart pounded.

"That's not fair."

He smiled softly.

"Then stay beside me."

The door ripped open halfway.

The tall figure forced its arm through — stronger than before.

The pack behind it waited.

Watching.

The hero stepped forward.

But this time—

The heroine stepped beside him.

Not behind.

He glanced at her.

She lifted the metal rod.

"I'm not hiding."

For a second, in the chaos, he smiled.

"That's my girl."

The door burst open.

The battle began.

The tall zombie lunged straight toward the hero—

But paused inches away.

Sniffing.

Reacting.

Its head tilted.

Confused.

The others hesitated too.

The hero's blood dripped onto the floor.

The tall one recoiled slightly.

The heroine realized first.

"They're reacting to you."

The tall zombie screeched — not in rage.

In frustration.

As if something about him disrupted them.

Gunshots suddenly echoed from outside the corridor.

Scientists in protective suits rushed in behind soldiers.

"Secure the subject!" one shouted.

Subject.

They meant him.

The hero grabbed her hand instantly.

"They're not taking me."

She nodded.

"Then we run."

Hand in hand—

They charged through the chaos together.

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End – The Line He Crossed

The storage room lights flickered again.

The metal door was dented.

Outside, the evolved zombies were circling.

Inside, fear was thick in the air.

The jealous girl stood near the back, watching the heroine closely.

The bad boy paced, breathing fast, trying to act brave.

Then his eyes landed on the heroine.

She was standing beside the hero, still holding the metal rod, face pale but determined.

The bad boy gave a crooked smile.

"In the middle of all this… you still look beautiful."

No one responded.

He stepped closer.

"Why are you acting shy? The world is ending."

The heroine stiffened.

The hero's jaw tightened.

The bad boy leaned in too close.

"Hey… hot girl… why so serious? Smile for me."

The room went silent.

The jealous girl looked between them, tension in her eyes.

The heroine tried to step back—

But the hero moved first.

He stepped directly between them.

Not yelling.

Not shouting.

Just standing there.

Solid.

"Step back," he said calmly.

The bad boy laughed nervously. "Relax. I'm just talking."

The hero's eyes darkened.

"You don't talk to her like that."

The bad boy tried to joke again, but his voice cracked. "Why? She's not yours."

The hero didn't grab him this time.

He didn't need to.

He simply moved closer, voice low and steady.

"She's not an object for you to look at."

Silence.

Even the banging outside seemed distant for a second.

The heroine felt her heart pounding.

Not from fear.

From the way he stood there.

Choosing her.

The bad boy finally stepped back, muttering something under his breath.

The jealous girl looked away.

The hero turned immediately to the heroine.

His expression softened.

"Are you okay?"

She nodded, but her hands were shaking.

He noticed.

Without thinking, he gently covered her trembling hand with his.

"You don't ever have to stand alone," he said quietly.

Another violent crash hit the metal door.

BOOM.

The tall evolved zombie struck it again.

The shelf shifted.

Everyone panicked.

But the heroine didn't move.

She looked up at him.

"Why do you always stand in front of me?"

He didn't hesitate this time.

"Because when I saw you that first night on the island… I knew."

"Knew what?" she whispered.

"That if the world ended… I'd still look for you."

Her breath caught.

Outside, metal tore.

Inside, everything felt suspended.

The jealous girl watched, pain flashing in her eyes — but she said nothing.

The door finally burst open.

The tall evolved zombie stepped in first.

Not rushing.

Scanning.

Its pale eyes locked onto the hero.

The others followed.

The hero tightened his grip on her hand.

"Stay close."

She didn't hide behind him.

She stood beside him.

Together.

As the battle exploded around them.

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End – The Breaking Point

The storage room shook again.

Metal screamed as the door bent inward.

Everyone was panicking.

The heroine's breathing became uneven. Everything was too much — the zombies, the fear, the jealousy, the pressure.

The bad boy, cornered and scared, tried to hide his fear by acting bold again.

He stepped too close.

"Why are you crying?" he said mockingly. "Still pretending to be innocent?"

The heroine turned away, tears falling silently.

He reached out — not violently — but invading her space.

"Hey. Look at me when I talk to you."

Before she could step back—

A hand grabbed his wrist mid-air.

Firm.

Unshakable.

The hero.

His voice wasn't loud.

It was worse.

It was steady.

"You don't touch her."

The room went silent.

Even the banging outside seemed distant for a second.

The bad boy tried to laugh it off. "Relax. I didn't even do anything."

The hero didn't let go.

"You don't need to."

He pushed the bad boy's hand away sharply.

"Stay. Away."

The heroine was crying now — not loudly — but overwhelmed. Too much noise. Too much chaos.

The hero immediately turned to her.

His anger disappeared.

He gently lifted her chin so she would look at him.

"You're safe," he whispered.

Outside—

BOOM.

The metal door finally split open halfway.

The tall evolved zombie stepped through first.

The pack followed.

The hero stepped in front of her again.

But this time—

She grabbed his shirt from behind.

Her voice shaking.

"Don't leave me."

He looked back at her.

Soft.

Deep.

"Even if the world collapses," he said quietly, "I am not walking away from you."

Her tears fell harder.

The jealous girl watched this — her jealousy slowly turning into something else.

Understanding.

Outside the door, the alpha zombie let out a low command sound.

The others moved in sync.

The hero leaned closer to the heroine.

"Stay close. When I move, you move."

She nodded.

He squeezed her hand once.

Then turned.

The battle exploded.

He fought with controlled fury — not reckless — clearing space around her.

The bad boy, shaken by what just happened, finally fought seriously too.

The jealous girl pulled the pregnant woman back to safety.

In the middle of chaos—

The heroine grabbed a fallen flare from the emergency kit.

She looked at him.

"I'm not hiding."

He gave her the smallest proud smile.

"That's why I chose you."

The flare ignited.

Bright red light filled the room.

The evolved zombies recoiled slightly from the brightness.

Gunshots echoed from outside.

Military reinforcements pushing back in.

Smoke.

Noise.

Fire.

The hero grabbed her hand.

"Run!"

They escaped through a side corridor while soldiers re-engaged the pack.

As they ran—

She suddenly stopped.

He turned.

She pulled him into a tight embrace.

Not soft.

Desperate.

"I thought I was going to lose you."

He wrapped his arms around her fully this time.

"You won't," he breathed into her hair.

For the first time—

He kissed her forehead gently.

Not dramatic.

Not rushed.

Just a promise.

And in that moment—

Even with sirens screaming and zombies evolving—

They weren't alone anymore.

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End – The Real Monster

They escaped the storage room during the chaos.

Smoke filled the corridors of the military base.

Sirens screamed.

Gunshots echoed in the distance.

The group split while running — soldiers pulling civilians in different directions.

The heroine and the hero ended up in a dark side hallway with emergency lights flickering red.

"Stay close," he whispered.

They hid inside a half-broken office room.

For a moment—

Silence.

Only their breathing.

She was shaking badly now.

He gently cupped her face.

"Hey. Look at me."

Her eyes were filled with fear.

"I'm tired," she whispered. "Everywhere feels unsafe."

Before he could respond—

The door creaked open slowly.

The bad boy stepped inside.

His face looked unstable. Fear mixed with something darker.

"So this is where you ran," he said quietly.

The hero stepped in front of her instantly.

"What do you want?"

The bad boy ignored him and looked at the heroine.

"Why are you hiding behind him? You think he can protect you from everything?"

He stepped closer.

Too close.

The heroine backed into the wall.

Her breath quickened.

The hero blocked him again.

"Stop."

But the bad boy shoved him suddenly.

The hero stumbled — not far — just enough space created.

The bad boy reached toward the heroine's arm—

And she flinched.

That was enough.

The hero snapped.

Not screaming.

Not wild.

Controlled fury.

He grabbed the bad boy and slammed him against the desk.

Hard.

"You will not touch her."

His voice was low. Dangerous.

Outside—

A deep growl echoed down the hallway.

The alpha.

Closer now.

The bad boy looked shaken for the first time.

The hero leaned close to him.

"If you try to scare her again, I won't be this calm."

He shoved him away.

"Get out. Now."

The bad boy hesitated—

Then the hallway lights flickered violently.

A shadow moved past the door.

All three froze.

The alpha zombie stepped into view.

Tall.

Still.

Watching.

The bad boy panicked and ran out of the room—

Straight into the hallway.

A scream cut through the air.

Then silence.

The heroine gasped.

The hero pulled her against him immediately, covering her ears so she wouldn't hear more.

"Don't look," he whispered.

Heavy footsteps passed outside again.

Then moved away.

The real monster had chosen its prey.

The hero slowly pulled back, checking her face.

She was crying.

Not loudly.

Just exhausted.

He gently wiped her tears.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that."

She shook her head.

"You're not the one I'm scared of."

His expression softened.

He placed his forehead against hers.

"You don't have to be strong all the time."

Her voice trembled.

"I don't want to survive alone."

"You won't," he said immediately.

Then, softer—

"I love you. Not because I'm protecting you. Not because of this chaos. Just… you."

Her fingers gripped his shirt tightly.

"I love you too."

Outside—

The alpha let out a low call.

The pack responded in the distance.

The base was falling.

The hero took her hand firmly.

"Rooftop access is two floors up. Emergency flare station."

She nodded.

This time—

She didn't hide behind him.

They ran together through the dark corridor.

Red lights flashing.

Zombies moving in unnatural coordination below.

The escape had begun again.

šŸŒ‘ Between Us and the End – White Stains in a Red World

The stairwell was chaos.

Gunfire below.

Zombies climbing over fallen soldiers.

Emergency lights spinning red.

They ran up the concrete stairs.

Halfway up—

She suddenly stopped.

Her breathing changed.

Not fear.

Something else.

She looked down.

Her white pants.

A small red stain spreading.

Her eyes widened.

Not now.

Not here.

The world was ending.

And her body chose now.

She froze in humiliation.

"I can't…" her voice cracked.

The hero turned quickly.

"What happened? Are you hurt?"

She shook her head, tears forming.

"It's just… I—"

She couldn't finish.

Another scream echoed from below.

Zombies climbing faster.

The hero glanced down.

He understood immediately.

Not disgust.

Not shock.

Just softness.

He took off his jacket instantly.

Wrapped it firmly around her waist.

Covered her completely.

"Look at me," he said gently.

"This is normal. You're not weak."

She was shaking.

"I'm slowing you down."

"You're the reason I'm moving."

Another crash below.

The alpha's roar echoed through the stairwell.

Closer.

He didn't hesitate.

He crouched slightly.

"Hold on to me."

Before she could protest—

He lifted her.

One arm under her legs.

One supporting her back.

She gasped.

"You'll get tired!"

"I'd carry you across a burning city," he replied quietly.

And he ran.

Up the stairs.

Boots pounding concrete.

Zombies clawing up behind them.

A hand grabbed his ankle—

He kicked it off violently without dropping her.

She clutched his shirt, hiding her face in his neck.

"I'm sorry…"

"Don't apologize for being human."

A zombie lunged from the side landing—

He turned his body, shielding her completely.

Took the hit on his shoulder instead.

Slammed the creature into the wall.

Threw it down the stairwell.

It crashed into the others below.

They reached the rooftop door.

Locked.

The alpha's heavy steps echoed just below.

Boom.

Boom.

Boom.

The hero set her down gently.

Tried the handle.

Jammed.

She noticed his bleeding shoulder.

"You're hurt…"

"It's nothing."

The door shook violently.

Wood cracking.

The alpha was forcing through.

She quickly grabbed a fallen emergency bar.

Handed it to him.

Their fingers touched.

She looked at him — not embarrassed now.

Not ashamed.

Just vulnerable.

"You didn't hesitate."

"Never with you."

The door burst open halfway.

The alpha's pale face appeared in the gap.

Eyes intelligent.

Watching.

Calculating.

The hero pulled her behind him.

"No matter what happens," he whispered, "stay behind me."

She stepped forward instead.

"No."

He looked shocked.

"I'm not hiding anymore."

The alpha lunged.

The hero swung the metal bar with full force.

It connected with a sickening crack.

The alpha staggered but didn't fall.

More zombies climbing up behind it.

No time.

The hero kicked open the rooftop emergency latch with everything he had.

The door burst open.

Cold night air hit them.

Helicopter searchlight sweeping in the distance.

They ran onto the rooftop.

He pulled a flare from the emergency kit box.

Lit it.

Red fire exploded into the night sky.

Below—

The alpha stepped onto the roof.

Not rushing.

Studying them.

The hero stepped in front of her again.

She grabbed his hand tightly.

"If we die," she whispered, "I don't regret loving you."

He turned to her.

Not fear in his eyes.

Only certainty.

"We're not dying tonight."

The helicopter spotlight locked onto them.

Wind from the blades whipping her hair.

The alpha charged.

The hero shoved her toward the rescue ladder—

And turned to face it.

Alone.

She screamed his name.

The alpha leaped—

And a sniper shot rang out.

Direct hit.

The alpha dropped to one knee.

The hero didn't waste a second.

He ran back.

Lifted her again effortlessly.

Carried her to the ladder.

She buried her face against him.

Not embarrassed.

Not ashamed.

Safe.

The helicopter crew pulled them up.

As they rose—

The rooftop filled with crawling figures.

The alpha slowly standing again.

Evolving.

Watching the helicopter leave.

This wasn't over.

Inside the helicopter—

He finally sat down.

Still holding her.

His jacket wrapped around her waist.

She looked up at him.

"You carried me."

He brushed her hair away from her face.

"I will. Every time. For anything."

She rested her forehead against his.

Outside, the burning city grew smaller below.

But the war—

Was only beginning.
