Chapter 295 - The Descent of Ōtsutsuki Shibai

When Baishiki heard the name Shibai, his eyes widened.

"Who are you…? How do you know the name of our god?"

Nagi didn't answer. Instead, he simply smiled and looked up at the sky.

Seeing that Nagi ignored him, Baishiki didn't dare show anger. After all, he feared that upsetting this person might result in his immediate death.

The six Ōtsutsuki floating in the sky were also completely confused.

What exactly is happening?

Why does Lord Baishiki seem afraid?

And how does this white-haired man know the name of their god?

At that moment—

A voice suddenly echoed from the heavens.

"Hahaha… so you discovered me after all."

"As expected of you, Nagi."

"!!!" ×N

Everyone in the shinobi world was shocked.

Someone had actually responded.

Immediately afterward, an overwhelming sense of oppression descended.

Dark clouds gathered across the sky. Lightning flashed and thunder roared.

A figure appeared within the clouds, slowly descending toward the ground.

Yet merely seeing that silhouette caused every living being present—except Nagi—to feel an instinctive reverence.

None of them even dared to look at him directly.

When the figure landed—

Nagi finally saw his appearance clearly.

He wore a black robe, with long flowing hair and a pair of horns resembling a royal crown. He possessed three eyes:

ByakuganRinneganA mysterious dark eye

Nagi spoke first.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Ōtsutsuki Shibai. Though this isn't your true body, is it?"

Upon hearing that, "Shibai" waved his hand casually.

"As expected, nothing escapes you. You're correct—this is only a projection."

"And we're not so different, are we? You're not here in your real body either."

"Shiranui Nagi" smiled.

"Well, if Mr. Shibai uses a clone to meet me, why should I greet you with my true body?"

Shibai studied Nagi with interest.

"Interesting. You're the first person who's dared speak to me like that."

"To be honest, I wouldn't have paid much attention to this world if you hadn't undergone tribulation and ascension."

Then Shibai stared at Nagi with a meaningful gaze.

"You're quite beautiful, you know."

Nagi replied calmly:

"It's an honor to receive such praise from you, Mr. Shibai."

"But please remember—I'm a man."

Shibai paused for a moment before bursting into laughter.

"Hahaha! You're a fascinating one."

"But gender? Why should something like that matter?"

"If you prefer, I can become a woman."

In the blink of an eye, Shibai suddenly appeared beside Nagi.

His form had changed—his figure now graceful and curvy, movements elegant and alluring.

He had literally changed his gender.

Shibai lightly tapped Nagi's shoulder and said teasingly:

"Well? What do you think?"

Nagi shook his head.

"Mr. Shibai… or should I say Miss Shibai—let's not play around."

"Baishiki is still here."

"Oh my, how boring."

"But boys like you are quite popular with girls."

Shibai reverted to his original appearance.

He then glanced toward Baishiki.

"This one from the main family is rather important."

"I hope you can let him go."

Nagi nodded and released his grip.

But Baishiki was completely frozen in shock. Even though Nagi had let him go, he didn't notice.

Seeing this, Shibai sighed in embarrassment and snapped his fingers.

Baishiki immediately snapped out of it.

"Huh? Who am I? Where am I? What was I doing?"

"…Right. I think I just saw a god."

Baishiki suddenly realized something and widened his eyes.

"Lord Shibai!!!"

"You're too loud."

Shibai punched him on the head.

A huge lump instantly appeared on Baishiki's forehead. He crouched down in pain, clutching his head with watery eyes.

"Ahem… apologies for the embarrassment."

Shibai coughed lightly to ease the awkwardness.

Nagi stared directly into Shibai's eyes.

"Ever since I stood above the heavens, I've been aware of your existence."

"But judging by your presence… you've only recently returned, haven't you?"

Shibai nodded.

"That's right. I just returned from another dimension."

"To be honest, traveling across dimensions is quite interesting."

"Though I almost lost my life doing it."

[Shiranui Nagi: So this is Ōtsutsuki Shibai? He seems quite interesting.]

[Ōtsutsuki Kaguya: Shi… Shibai!? He actually came here?!]

[Ōtsutsuki Isshiki: Though Nagi said that's not his true body… still, I didn't even have the courage to look directly at his clone. Thinking back to my own arrogance now is laughable.]

[Senju Tobirama: Ōtsutsuki Shibai… I didn't expect him to come personally. Even if it's only a projection, the pressure is overwhelming.]

[Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo: So this is the god Mother spoke of… I can't even muster the thought of opposing him.]

[Ōtsutsuki Hamura: I feel the same.]

[Uzumaki Mito: Terrifying… even through the screen I feel powerless. And those eyes…]

[Senju Hashirama: Aside from Nagi, it seems no one else even enters his sight.]

[Uchiha Madara: Hmph. That man is truly arrogant… though he certainly has the right to be.]

At that moment—

Across the entire shinobi world, when Shibai appeared on the screen, it felt as though all breathing had stopped.

The only sound people could hear was the frantic pounding of their own hearts.

Some didn't even dare make the slightest noise, afraid they might disturb the two figures on the screen—though that was impossible.

[Namikaze Minato: Such overwhelming pressure… Is this really Nagi's opponent?]

[Rasa: Sigh… in his eyes, the Five Kage probably aren't even worth considering as ants.]

[Ōnoki: Harsh as that sounds… I can't argue with it. If something happens to Nagi, the end of the shinobi world may come.]

[Fourth Raikage A: Don't jinx it, Ōnoki! Nagi won't lose!]

[Hiruzen Sarutobi: Indeed. We must believe in him.]

[Mei Terumi: I believe the handsome one will win.]

The Screen Continues…

Shibai and Nagi looked at one another.

Eventually, Shibai spoke first.

"So—how would you like to compete?"

Nagi replied calmly:

"How about just the two of us?"

Shibai shook his head, looking bored.

"That wouldn't be interesting."

"How about this instead?"

He pointed at the six Ōtsutsuki still hovering in the sky.

"Let them fight the people of your shinobi world."

Nagi narrowed his eyes.

"Oh my… Mr. Shibai must be joking."

"What if they have techniques that summon other Ōtsutsuki clan members? That wouldn't be much of a fair match."

Hearing that, Shibai released a surge of pressure, then laughed.

"Hahaha… what is it?"

"Are you afraid?"

Nagi responded with his own pressure, smiling faintly.

"Of course not."

"But if your clan truly comes here…"

"I'm confident they won't be leaving alive."

Meanwhile—

Poor Baishiki was stuck between the overlapping pressures of the two beings.

He trembled violently.

"Can somebody please save me?!"
