Chapter 297 - Void Body vs. Divine Manifestation

Seeing the two figures expand to a terrifying height of tens of thousands of meters, everyone in the shinobi world fell silent.

Usually, the larger the body, the stronger the power—but wasn't tens of thousands of meters a bit excessive?

Many people were already worried that if the two of them simply stomped on the ground a few times, the entire planet might crack apart.

After a long pause, Madara was the first to break the silence.

[Madara Uchiha]:

"So this is the power of the Ōtsutsuki God and Nagi? Truly astonishing. Just judging by their size alone, it's no exaggeration to say they could crush the Ten-Tails with a single finger."

[Hashirama Senju]:

"They might not even need a finger. A single breath might blow the Ten-Tails away."

[Kaguya Ōtsutsuki]:

"Shibai's power is indeed terrifying. Even though I repeatedly overestimated his strength, it still proves the saying: mortals cannot comprehend the might of gods."

[Isshiki Ōtsutsuki]:

"And that's only the power of a clone… Sigh. The gap between me and him really is like heaven and earth."

Hearing Isshiki's words, Nagi shook his head inwardly.

"Mr. Isshiki, this isn't just a simple clone… This is a Void Body and a Divine Manifestation ."

[Hiruzen Sarutobi]:

"This looks somewhat similar to the Akimichi Clan's Multi-Size Technique."

[Chōza Akimichi]:

"N-No, Lord Third! Our clan's jutsu really can't accept that kind of praise."

The Yang Release secret technique of the Akimichi Clan was indeed powerful, but compared to Nagi's move, the difference might be even greater than that between a giant and an ant.

For the first time, the people of the shinobi world truly understood what divine power meant.

At a scale of tens of thousands of meters, things like Susanoo, the Wood Golem, or even the Ten-Tails seemed utterly insignificant.

"Nagi" and "Shibai" left the planet's surface together.

In the blink of an eye, they flew into the vast, boundless cosmic starfield.

Shibai carefully looked Nagi up and down.

"Impressive. I didn't expect you to possess such a technique as well."

Nagi replied calmly:

"Since Mr. Shibai has already used a Void Body, it wouldn't be unreasonable for me to use a Divine Manifestation , right?"

"Heh. Interesting."

A gray-brown energy gathered in Shibai's hand.

"Withered Wood and Rotten Branches."

Instantly, the gray-brown energy in the Void Body's hand erupted with dazzling light, radiating a force of decay.

That power spread across the entire star system.

All the planets within it began to be slowly consumed by grayness. The once rugged surfaces of countless worlds gradually rotted and crumbled into dust…

The scope of this power was terrifying.

It was merely a single beam of light, yet it covered several light-years of space, as if the surrounding cosmos had been engulfed by the decay of death itself.

"So this… is the power of the Ōtsutsuki God…"

Even the people standing on Earth could see the star system in the sky gradually swallowed by darkness.

Nagi murmured softly:

"Withered Wood Reborn in Spring."

A moment later, a holy blue radiance burst from his hand, like a newly rising azure sun, illuminating the cosmos.

The blue light spread outward, reviving and restoring the planets that had been decaying.

Everyone in the shinobi world stared up at the sky as the two forces collided.

The entire starfield became a mixture of gray-brown and ocean-blue light.

As for the planets caught in the middle—

They were truly unlucky.

They decayed, then revived, revived only to decay again, and then revived once more…

[Hashirama Senju]:

"So powerful!"

[Madara Uchiha]:

"These two are seriously breaking the power scale!"

[Izuna Uchiha]:

"What can you do, brother? They're both gods."

[Ōnoki]:

"Even so… their power is way beyond any reasonable limit."

[Orochimaru]:

"Indeed. I never expected their attacks to affect so many star systems. It seems I still underestimated their strength."

[Hiruzen Sarutobi]:

"Sigh… it truly feels like the authority of gods cannot be defied."

[Tsunade]:

"Uh… they're strong, sure, but why do I feel like Nagi and Shibai are just… arm wrestling?"

[Jiraiya]:

"Arm wrestling, huh? That's actually a pretty fitting description."

[Kushina Uzumaki]:

"Hahaha, it really does look like that! Nagi, go for it! Beat him up!"

[Screen Continues…]

Both the shinobi world and the Ōtsutsuki watched the clashing sky in utter shock.

Even though Nagi and Shibai were consciously trying to avoid affecting Earth, the aftershocks of their power still spread throughout the entire shinobi world.

Feeling that energy, everyone had the same thought:

Life… or death.

The shinobi of the ninja world felt a sense of reverence toward Nagi.

The Ōtsutsuki, meanwhile, felt an urge to kneel in worship toward Shibai.

Baishi stared blankly at the two figures fighting.

A bitter feeling rose in his heart.

"Sigh… even if we belong to the main family, what does it matter?"

"We can't even withstand the aftershocks of their battle…"

"In front of these two… there's no will to resist at all."

In Space…

The opening clash between Nagi and Shibai gradually dissipated.

In the end, Withered Wood and Rotten Branches and Withered Wood Reborn in Spring both faded into nothingness.

The two looked at each other.

Suddenly—

Nagi's vision blurred.

Shibai's figure appeared behind him instantly.

Shibai threw a punch.

But Nagi seemed to have predicted it already. He turned, dodged the punch, and immediately counterattacked with an elbow strike.

Shibai narrowed his eyes. As if he had expected that as well, he bent down to dodge and followed up with a knee strike.

Nagi leaned back in advance and launched a reverse roundhouse kick.

The two exchanged dozens of moves.

Yet the result was strange.

They were evenly matched—no, more accurately, completely unharmed.

Because it seemed both of them had already seen through each other's attack patterns, predicting their opponent's movements in advance.

The result was simple:

Neither could hit the other.

Neither could even touch the other.

Shibai narrowed his eyes.

"This is our first time fighting. You shouldn't possibly know my attack patterns."

"So it seems… you can also foresee the future."

Nagi smiled lightly.

"Oh? Who knows."

"Hmph. Stop playing riddles."

Shibai clearly wasn't buying Nagi's cryptic act.

He had already used his divine technique — Ten Directions, which allowed him to foresee the future, but he discovered that the technique couldn't peer into Nagi's future at all.

However, relying on years of battle experience, Shibai still used Ten Directions during their exchange to glimpse fragments of future attacks.

Yet he found something shocking—

Nagi had no openings whatsoever.

Every attack Shibai saw in the future missed completely, as if Nagi had already known the attack beforehand.

So could Nagi truly see the future as well?

The answer was yes.

Since childhood, Nagi had studied sensory techniques under Tobirama Senju.

After years of training, as his sensory abilities grew stronger, he eventually awakened the ability to predict the future.

(After all, even Luffy from another world awakened it after getting beaten up a few times. So awakening it through years of training with Tobirama isn't unreasonable, right?)

Soon, Nagi and Shibai clashed again.

But just like before—

Neither could hit the other.

From a distance, if someone didn't know better…

They might think the two gods were competing in a dance contest.
