They were Nagi and Shibai.
Shibai launched an energy sphere and said,
"Your speed and reaction time are impressive."
Nagi knocked the sphere away and replied,
"Likewise."
Shibai suddenly grinned mischievously.
"Hehe. Since my last artifact couldn't deal with you, let me show you a new tool."
With that, he pulled out a small bottle from his pocket. After opening it, he placed it beside him and deliberately taunted:
"If you've got the guts, try taking this move head-on."
Then Shibai began forming hand seals.
Nagi found the gesture somewhat familiar. When he looked again at the small bottle, he saw several blood-red characters written on it:
"Demon King Seal."
"Could it be…"
Nagi seemed to realize what Shibai was about to do.
At that moment, Shibai finished gathering power. Spreading his hands wide, he shouted:
"Evil Containment Wave!"
Instantly, green light burst from Shibai's body, enveloping Nagi.
A glowing sphere appeared in Shibai's hands, which he then hurled toward Nagi.
"Hahaha! If you dare, then take it!"
The sphere trailed a spiraling green vortex as it flew toward Nagi.
Shibai eagerly anticipated Nagi's panicked reaction.
Unfortunately for him, Nagi still looked calm and thoughtful.
"You're lucky you even managed to come back alive from that dimension."
"…Huh?"
Shibai froze.
What did that mean? Why did it sound like Nagi knew exactly where this technique came from?
The green sphere was about to hit Nagi—
Yet Nagi simply raised his hand.

He caught the swirling sphere in his palm.

Shibai's jaw nearly hit the floor.

Seeing the incoming Evil Containment Wave, Shibai didn't dare underestimate it. He immediately gathered massive energy.
"Divine Art: Reflection!"
Light flared around Shibai's body. When the Evil Containment Wave struck the aura, it was reflected back.
Shibai sighed in relief.
"Phew… Good thing I touched him earlier during the fight. Otherwise activating Reflection would've been difficult."
But he overlooked something important.
If Nagi could reflect it once, he could reflect it again.
Sure enough, as the Evil Containment Wave returned, Nagi calmly grabbed it again.
To him, Yin-Yang principle techniques were as docile as kittens.
Using them against him was completely pointless.

His Reflection finally faded.
The moment it disappeared—
Nagi waved his hand.
The Evil Containment Wave shot forward at terrifying speed.
Feeling the suction pulling at him, Shibai immediately activated a dōjutsu.
"Divine Art: Claw Mark!"
He created a band-like construct formed from chakra mixed with the iron in his blood, allowing him to move between different locations instantly to evade the Evil Containment Wave.
But the technique chased him like it had tracking capability, refusing to let him escape.
"Damn it!"
Shibai could only accelerate and teleport repeatedly.
Nagi laughed while teleporting alongside him.
"Hahaha! Mr. Shibai, how does it feel to be hit by the stone you threw yourself?"
"Don't celebrate too early!"
Suddenly, Shibai realized something.
The Evil Containment Wave required a sealing container.
Destroy the container—and the technique collapses.
So he immediately teleported back to the original spot and crushed the small bottle.
"Heh heh… Let's see how you—"
His words froze halfway.
Because Nagi had already created dozens of identical bottles.
Shibai stared blankly.
Nagi asked calmly,
"What were you saying just now?"
"…Hmph. I admit I spoke a little too loudly earlier."
The moment he finished speaking—
Shibai turned and ran.
"Don't run."
Nagi immediately teleported after him.
