Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Grand Finale

After the award was announced, the entire gallery erupted in applause, but for Aryan and Sameeksha, the world seemed to stop. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the college, they stood near the same gallery window, where the rain was clearly visible.

"You should go receive the award," Sameeksha smiled, dusting off his coat.

Aryan slowly examined his medal and certificate, then turned to Sameeksha. "This award isn't mine. It's for the trust you placed in me, even when everything seemed wrong."

He took his 'black diary' from his pocket and opened its very last page. This page held no old memories, no pain. On it was a beautiful, colorful sketch—Aryan and Sameeksha standing under the same umbrella, and this time, their faces showed no worry, but comfort for each other.

In small letters below, it read: "Day 1: Our Forever."

Vikram stood at a distance, watching all this. He picked up his camera bag and left without a word. He had realized that some memories and relationships are more precious than any 'perfect shot'.

Conclusion:

Years later, that library table remains the same. New students sit there, new stories begin. But a sketch still hangs on one of the walls, teaching every visitor:

"Love is not just about being together, love is about waiting for something that stands the test of time."
