Sophia had already left earlier while he was trading, probably to clean the dishes.
Now, he wasn't sure where she was.
"Maybe she went back to her room…" With that thought, he walked upstairs and entered his bedroom.
The moment he stepped inside, he paused. The room was spotless.
Everything was arranged neatly, without a single trace of disorder. Even the faint scent of cleanliness lingered in the air.
His gaze shifted, Sophia was there.
She was carefully adjusting a new white bedsheet on the bed, smoothing out every crease with delicate movements.
Vikram blinked slightly. He didn't know where she had gotten that clean bedsheet from…
But he didn't ask.
"You can go back to your room," he said casually. "You don't need to clean every day."
Then, after a brief pause, he added, "…But you did a good job. The room looks much better now."
Sophia turned toward him. "You are my master," she replied calmly. "Taking care of everything here is my duty."
