Chapter 2 - The little people

While Roy was still recovering from the shock, deeply confused wether this mirror is an actual mirro or some kind of an LED screen. Still, whatever it is, it spooked him nearly to death.

"That's strange," Roy muttered to himself "I thought i saw tiny hills and tiny figures inside it."

He immediately shot up to his feet, casually approaching the mirror with extreme caution.

Whatever it is, he needs to know wether it's an actual mirror or some kind of monitoring device sent to spy on him.

He was still deeply drowning on the thought until his doorbell suddenly rang.

DING! DONG! DING! DONG!

He stammered and quickly sprinted to his door.

He peaked cautiously through his peephole, wondering it was the government ready to arrest him on the spot.

When he peaked through, it was just actually a pizza courier.

He immediately remember he actually ordered some pizza before he went outside.

He quickly relaxed himself, opened the door and gave the delivery courier a gentle, polite smile like nothing has ever happened.

The pizza courier calmly handed him the delivery and turned to leave.

Roy received the package with both hands, after the delivery courier left, he made sure the delivery courier was out of sight before closing the door and put the pizza on a nearby table.

He then quickly returned to the mirror.

Before getting too close unto the mirror, he cautiously approached it, slowly, step by step.

He swallowed hard before touching the mirror again.

Before reaching the mirror, he stared at the reflection of himself, doubt still lingered in his mind.

"is this actually a mirror?" He spoke silently.

He brushed away his thoughts and touched the mirror again.

The instant his fingers touched the mirror, his reflection suddenly rippled like a stone tossed onto a still water.

The image shifted.

Upon the mirror, his reflection was gone. Instead, all he saw was tiny hills lining like a small mountain range. Tiny tress covered the hills with green. Small rivers zigzaged the plains with flowing blue waters.

The scene was like a little diorama, yet it felt so alive and realistic.

He can smell the fresh air that were flowing outside the mirror. Unlike the polluted air he can smell in the city.

The scene inside the mirror were unlike any outdoor scenery he has ever seen before.

it felt so...real

But while he was still admiring the scene in awe, confusion suddenly raced back through his mind.

How can a mirror do this? Is this really and LED screen or a government monitoring device?

He did not know wether is true, so he had to be cautious. He tried lifting his arm, the moment his finger wasn't touching the mirror, it instantly turned back to an ordinary mirror, replacing the outdoor scenery with his reflection.

"Hmm, what actually is this?" He was still asking questions to himself, until suddenly words appeared on the mirror.

"Huh..?"

"So is this actually a big celphone?"

He stared a words that suddenly appeared on the screen, the words were SCREEN TOUCH LOCK/UNLOCK, OPEN, SCALE

"What?!" He was shocked after seeing the words "So this is actually just a big screen?is the scenery earlier just a videographic display?"

He approached the mirror again and touched it.

The outdoor scenery once again replaced his reflection.

He inhaled, the smell of fresh air once again reached his lungs.

it just so...realistic.

After thoughts of confusion surged into his head once again, he pressed the 'button-like-words' that appeared on the screen.

He accidentaly pressed SCREEN TOUCH.

The screen seem to follow his hand that touched the screen, like a dog following his masters hand clutching a treat.

"it works like a phone too..."

He swiped his hand left, then right, down and up, then in circles.

He was endlessly swiping the screen with his hand, until it landed right above a small village.

Roy haven't noticed the village yet, he was still carried away by amazement until he heard faint, small voices under his hand.

He lifted his hand and saw tiny figures, roughly 0.33 inches or about 8.33 mm.

He saw the tiny figures fighting, slashing, hacking each others back.

"What is happening?" He asked to himself "is this some kind of videographic display too?"

Just as he was questioning what was happening, he remember the buttons that appeared on the screen earlier.

He tapped the OPEN button and his hand was slowly being swallowed by the screen.

"AHHH–!!"

He let out a shrill scream, panicking that he was slowly being eaten by the mysterious mirror.

The villagers were still in a middle of the fight.

"Damn you empirial dogs!" one villager cursed while swinging his blade.

"HAHAHA just die you filthy peasants!" the soldier replied.

They were still slashing and hacking each other when suddenly a gigantic hand in the sky emerged out of thin air.

Roy was still screaming, trying to pull himself while being sucked inside the mirror.
