Chapter 6 - The 8000 Meter Mystery

In the vast lands of Australia, there lived a dedicated couple, James Austin and Jessica Austin. Both were successful bankers who shared a quiet, hardworking life. Their daily routine was defined by the rhythmic clatter of the train tracks as they commuted to work every morning and returned home every evening.

One fateful day, their routine turned into a nightmare. Their passenger train suffered a catastrophic head-on collision with an oil tanker train. While the oil train derailed, the impact threw the carriage carrying James and Jessica high into the air, plunging it deep into a massive, sea-like river. Despite the desperate efforts of rescue teams and the police, the train sank to unreachable depths. Eventually, after months of failure, the authorities abandoned the rescue, leaving the "Unknown Train" to be swallowed by the abyss.

Three months later, a brave team of five 26-year-old friends—Arial, Toek, Jambo, Hinfirni, and Sorel—decided to uncover the truth. Equipped with rifles, pistols, bombs, and specialized gear, they dove into the dark water. After descending a staggering 8,000 meters, their flashlights finally illuminated the ghost train. Looking through the windows, their hearts froze; the passengers were no longer human, but rows of silent skeletons still sitting in their seats.

Hinfirni and Arial decided to enter the coaches to record the scene, despite the others' warnings. Inside, amidst the skeletons, they were suddenly attacked from behind by a massive Water Demon. However, the team was prepared; they wore protective suits covered in sharp spikes. When the monster tried to grab them, it was pierced by the spikes, and Hinfirni quickly finished it off with three precise rifle shots.

Exiting the coach, they noticed a mysterious golden glow nearby. Wary of another attack, they approached with their guns ready, only to discover a vast treasure of gold coins. They decided to collect the treasure to hand it over to the government and took extensive photographs of the wreckage as proof. As they gathered the gold, Arial whispered to Toek, "Are we doing the right thing? I hope this doesn't bring us harm." Jambo replied firmly, "There is no point in doubting now. What is done is done. We must face whatever destiny has in store."

After a silent prayer for the souls of the departed passengers, the team successfully ascended back to the surface. They handed over the evidence and the treasure to the police. While the families of the victims were heartbroken to see the photos of the skeletons, they finally found peace knowing the truth that the law had failed to uncover.

One month later, the government officially honored the team for their immense bravery, self-confidence, and for recovering the lost national treasure.

This story teaches us that the truth, no matter how deeply buried, eventually comes to light through courage and persistence. While James and Jessica's journey ended in tragedy, the bravery of the five friends provided closure to many grieving families. It also highlights that preparation is the key to surviving the unknown. By wearing spiked suits and carrying the right tools, the team turned a death trap into a successful mission. Finally, it reminds us to act with integrity—by handing the treasure over to the state, the friends earned honor and respect far more valuable than the gold itself.
