Chapter 1 - The National Treasure’s Rebirth

"Japan, National High School Soccer Championship."

"Saitama Prefecture Tournament Finals."

"Ichinan High vs. Matsukaze Kokuou."

"Players, enter the pitch!"

As the announcer's voice echoed through the stadium, two lines of teenagers in jerseys emerged from the tunnel.

"Ryosuke Kira! Wow! He's so handsome!"

"Oh my god! He totally looked at me! He looked right at me!"

"I'll have your babies, Kira! Score a goal and I'm yours!"

The cheering was deafening, but the boy leading the line—wearing the number 10 blue and green striped jersey—had a face full of confusion.

Where am I? Who is Ryosuke Kira? Are they talking to me?

Ryosuke Kira? The name felt familiar. It hit him like a lightning bolt—this was the character from the manga Blue Lock who got eliminated in the very first trial.

I've transmigrated into this world?

He looked up. Standing across from him in a white number 11 jersey was the protagonist of the manga, Isagi Yoichi. He looked exactly like the illustrations.

Kira felt a surge of mixed emotions. He was thrilled to finally play the sport he had always dreamed of at a high level. But he was also terrified. According to the plot, he would win this game, but his career would end the moment he stepped into the Blue Lock facility.

"Players, please shake hands."

As the lines moved, Kira stood face-to-face with Isagi. The protagonist looked at him, remembering his coach's warning about the "star player."

But as Isagi gripped his hand, he noticed Kira seemed dazed, even distracted. Doesn't seem like much to worry about, Isagi thought, subconsciously lowering his guard.

The whistle blew, and the match began with Ichinan High in possession.

Under Isagi's tactical coordination, Ichinan began to press forward, inching into Matsukaze Kokuou's half. The ball stayed glued to their feet. Even though Matsukaze's defense was solid, Ichinan clearly held the upper hand.

"Isn't Matsukaze Kokuou the reigning champion? Why are they being suppressed like this?"

"Do you see that white number 11? It's like he's everywhere at once."

The whispers from the stands grew louder. Ten minutes into the first half, Isagi broke through the left flank and sent a curling cross into the heart of the penalty area.

The stadium gasped. Fortunately, the Ichinan attacker couldn't control the ball, allowing a Matsukaze defender to clear it out. It was a close call.

Kira felt a chill run down his spine. Even though this was the "early" Isagi, his game-reading ability was already terrifying. It was hard to imagine how strong he would become later.

If I follow the original plot, we'll win a tough victory today, but then it's game over for me, Kira realized.

Suddenly, a cold, feminine voice rang out in his mind.

[Detectable Attribute Found!]

[Vision +20 (Currently Decaying)]

[Duration: 10 Minutes | Retention: 24 Hours]

[Would you like to absorb?]

What is this...

Kira's brain froze for half a second. Then, drawing on years of reading web novels, he realized he had just become a "cheater." His panic vanished instantly.

Absorb! Kira commanded internally.

[Absorption Successful. Obtained: Isagi Yoichi Attribute Experience Card.]

[Vision +20 (Decaying). Use by thinking 'Activate'.]

Kira was stunned. A short-term attribute boost from Isagi himself?

On the field, a corner kick was sent in. A Matsukaze player headed the ball out of the box. Kira sprinted toward the second ball, but Isagi was already there, perfectly timing the bounce to reset the attack back to Ichinan's defense.

Kira kicked the turf in frustration. The boy's sense for the ball's landing point was just too precise. He needed more than just talent—he needed to use the card.

This can't go on!

"Activate Experience Card!" Kira commanded internally.

[System: Experience Card Activated. Vision +20. Duration: 10 Minutes.]

In an instant, the entire pitch was etched into Kira's mind. The positions of every player, ally or foe, became a crystalline tactical map. He finally understood—this was the secret behind Isagi's "comfortable" playstyle.

On the other side, after several quick exchanges, the ball found its way back to Isagi's feet. He trapped it cleanly, his eyes scanning the defense with cold patience.

I can win. I can break them, Isagi thought, his ego swelling. Matsukaze Kokuou is only at this level. If I think harder, I'll find the flaw and pierce right through them.

"The ticket to the Nationals... is mine!"

Isagi exploded into motion, charging directly into the heart of the defense. Two Matsukaze defenders rushed to close the gap, but Isagi executed a breathtaking turn, slipping between them in a blur of white. Only the number 6 defender now stood between him and a clear shot at the keeper.

"Go, Isagi! Put them in their place!" the Ichinan bench erupted in cheers.

The Nationals... Isagi whispered his mantra. His feet moved like a pendulum, a rhythmic "Zindai" feint that blurred the vision of the lone defender.

Which way? Which way will he go? The number 6 defender's eyes were glued to the ball. Isagi's focus was even sharper, locked onto the defender's center of gravity.

Suddenly, Isagi's left shoulder dipped.

Left! The defender bit hard on the feint. Isagi's lips curled into a smirk as he slashed to the right. "Too slow. It was always this way!"

He surged past, the goal wide open. But just as Isagi prepared for a 1v1 with the keeper, a shadow materialized like a solid wall directly in his path.

"Ryosuke Kira?!"

"How?! When did he get there?"

"It's like he vanished from the pitch and just... reappeared!"

The stadium was in an uproar. Isagi froze, his mind reeling in self-doubt. Impossible. Did he read my entire intent? Did he abandon his own zone just to shadow me?

"One more time, Isagi! Take him!" his teammates screamed from behind.

"Right... I still have a chance!" Isagi snapped back to reality. He went to shift the ball for a shot, but before his foot could even swing—

THUD.

The ball was ruthlessly snatched away. A surge of raw power radiated from Kira as they collided, sending Isagi crashing to the grass. No whistle. No foul. Just pure, dominant physical contact.

"Stop him! Quickly!!" Isagi yelled from the ground, his voice cracking.

It was too late.

Kira was already gone, moving like an arrow released from a longbow. He tore through the Ichinan lines, navigating the field as if he had memorized the future. He bypassed defender after defender with eerie precision until he stood alone before the keeper.

With a motion that was both simple and magnificent, Kira unleashed a thunderous strike. The ball shrieked through the air, rippling the back of the net before anyone could blink.

The stadium fell silent for a heartbeat before exploding into a deafening roar. The Matsukaze Kokuou players swarmed Kira from all sides, burying him in a celebratory huddle.

"Unbelievable! Matsukaze's Number 10, Ryosuke Kira, has gone coast-to-coast! He decimated the entire team alone!" the announcer screamed into his mic.

"Is he really a high schooler?"

"Even Isagi couldn't stand against him..."

The Ichinan bench was a sea of despair. Meanwhile, Kira's fans were reaching a fever pitch. "Kira! You're the best!" "That solo run was legendary—I'm marrying that man!"

In the distance, Isagi remained on the ground, his eyes vacant and confused. Did he really see through me? He could accept being physically outclassed, but his pride lay in his vision. To have his eyes countered so completely was a nightmare he couldn't wake up from.

"It's not over! We still have time!" Isagi shouted, desperately trying to rally his broken teammates.

On the other side of the pitch, Kira spread his arms wide, soaking in the adulation. This was his first goal in this world—a goal stolen from the protagonist's future.

So this is the world through Isagi's eyes? Kira smiled, his gaze sharp and predatory. Everything is so clear. I think I'm going to like it here.
