Chapter 1 - Prologue

Years ago in a kingdom so great that it rules even in this day, there was a secret so dark that the kingdom had almost collapsed when it was revealed.

The kingdom of Kateria had a strange rule for foreigners, they could only visit the capital Kentara, and not any other village or city. The foreigners saw nothing of it as the kingdom might have been trying to protect their people.

But one year as it was the travelling season, someone, a foreigner, became curious about why no children were seen in Kentara. Then at night he snuck away to a village that neighboured Kentara. It was so magnificent that he had thought that its beauty rivalled that of the capital, with buildings of all sizes made of different materials and metals. 'This village is very beautiful' He thought.

As James, the foreigner, walked around in the dark, he saw a murmuring crowd gathered at the entrance of a house. He walked to the crowd and listened to the murmurs of the crowd.

"What is happening?" He asked the woman closest to him. The woman tilted her head to look at him and answered, "The chieftain's wife is giving birth." She looked at the door expectantly and an abrupt cry echoed followed by a second wail. The crowd fell silent as a midwife came out to announce the gender of the baby, "The lady has given birth to healthy twins," she paused as the crowd murmured cheerfully, then she continued, "She has birthed both a boy and a girl." The crowd clapped and cheered with praises for the first lady of their village.

Then a short figure wearing a long black robe appeared and stood in front of the crowd. "Who is that?" James asked the woman. The woman looked at James in confusion and asked, "How old are you?" "22, is there something wrong?" He said.

The woman looked at him suspiciously and asked, "Above 20. Where are you from?" "The capital," James answered hesitantly, he felt like he was being figured out and he was fearful of what these people would do to him.

But unexpectedly the woman's eyes lit up in excitement.

"Did you go there immediately after your rebinding ceremony? How os it in the capital, I had never visited there" The woman, Cassava, asked curiously. "Yeah, it is nice over there but this village is even more magnificent though small." Cassava turned back to see the woman in the rode enter the building, "She is the binder, unbinded children can not see her but she is uncharge of keeping them safe always."

Soon enough James and Cassava fell in love and even wrote The book of Holacia together. But then James was discovered as a foreigner and was sent back to his kingdom.
