Third person POV
In the distance, a man could be seen riding a horse towards the village of the damned. This man though covered in heavy armor was extremely fast on his horse. In under two minutes he had reached the village. His name was Jeffrey.
Jeffrey's POV
Having heard the screams I quickened my pace towards the village. I was sent by the new king to look into this village. According to him, the village was abandoned by the previous king, his father and the people mut be suffering by know. The screams he heard only solidified this information in his head.
Upon arriving i was left shocked. The village seemed to be doing well, even better than the capital infant. The people seemed happy and the children were playing around with no worries.
"This was not what I pictured "
I walked around the village ,then booked an inn. This village was more peaceful than he thought. In my room, I remove his helmet to reveal a staning face with brown hair and chocolate eyes, beneath his right eye lay a small beauty mark that farther defined my beautiful eyes.
"What is happening in this village? Wasn't i told that it was in ruins? Wasn't it abounded by the previous kings?where are the monsters? Wasn't this place ment to be near a forest filled with monsters?" I asked myself all these questions while rubbing my brows out of confusion.
I'll ask around tomorrow, right know, I'm tired I told myself as I slowly closed my eyes easily succumbing to sleep.
Third person POV
In the next day, the village was lively. People were moving about and children were playing but as for the witch, her morning was neither joyful nor nice, she hadn't been able to go to sleep. Like the day before she went to the forest to extinguish her anger on the monsters.
Jeffrey was awakened by screams. At that moment his hand went to his sword by his bedside. Without even putting on his armer, he rushed down from his room I the inn.
No one was panicked it was as if nothing had happened . This left Jeffrey very puplexed. He went to the owner of the inn who was sitting by the door and asked about the screams.
"The witch was up" that was the only thing the owner said before walking deep into the inn before eventually disappearing from view.
"What is happening in this village?" Jeffrey found himself saying under his breath.
Soon after that, Jeffrey walked around the village looking for the adventures guild. Every village in the kingdom had to have one. He couldn't find it. As he was giving up, he caught sight of silver hair.
"Excuse me," he found himself saying as he went towards the girl with silver hair. She turned to face him only for him to freeze in his place. Standing before him was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She had Silver hair and deep ocean blue eyes in which anyone could get lost in. This girl was nonetheless than Lora
"How my i help you sir?"Lora asked in a soft lovely voice that could put mermaid to shame.
