Alejandro remained in the sitting area, listening to the exchange between his father and Gabriel without interrupting. His attention kept drifting back to Santiago's earlier words.
Treat your wife well. And if you're having any problems satisfying her, you should probably seek medical advice.
He had dismissed the remark at the time. Viola was his wife, his partner, and the mother of his child. Their marriage was strong, and he had never had a reason to question her loyalty.
But Gabriel had believed the same about Felicia.
Now his brother's life was being turned upside down by questions none of them had anticipated.
Alejandro glanced at Gabriel, who had fallen silent beneath their father's reprimand. He understood that his brother was struggling with what he had learned, but that did not make the situation any less troubling.
He had no reason to doubt Viola. None at all.
