EPILOGUE

-A new crisis has fallen upon the Earth.-

-As a punishment by the gods above; humanity has lingered far too long. For decades, they have evolved, built empires, and fought for survival; which was exactly what the gods had feared. In a cruel attempt to stop the progress of humanity, the gods unleashed a disruption in the tide of their universe, creating an unprecedented apocalypse all over the world.-

-The population of humanity dwindled. Monsters and supernatural creatures have taken over—leading humanity to form into a global battle field. Humans are doing whatever they can to survive: even if they have to destroy, kill, team with the enemy or build to hide. Whatever it takes to keep the race alive and breathing.-

-Until, a new phase of a moon, or perhaps an unknown phenomenon, has ascended down to the ruined Earth. The unknown phenomenon has offered peace, and an essential guide for humanity to survive and save its planet to the path salvation,-

-and her name was Mahina.-

Where should I even start …

Well, first things first—my name is Mahina. I'm the one who has been selected to save humanity from collapsing. I won't say much about myself, because personally I don't wanna bore you with my constant yapping, but I'm from Tartarus and I was born on…it's kinda difficult to explain in words, but you'll understand it more throughout the journey.

I've always heard stories about the human race. I was quite fascinated by humanity as a little baby. I remembered wanting to travel to the Earth to experience the differences from where I grew up, but guess what my mom said? No. Wish she didn't say no because now I've lost my chance to actually experience a different world. I've heard that humans built so many things that impacted their society, and how they managed to cope with each other and make life on their planet…I've never heard of anything so cool.

I'm not from this world. It's not that hard to tell. That's the least of your worries right now. Yet, the only thing that we both should worry about is: "how will I save humanity?" Surely, I can't do it alone. I'm not asking the gods either. They're the reason why you're in this mess. I know that it won't be easy to do it alone, so I need people to help alongside with me.

But right now, I am alone.

There are certain tasks that I need to do, or "missions," as I like to call them. Imagine it has a choice picking game: there's no choice to get out of, but there's certainly a choice to do it differently. The mission that you are require to do doesn't necessarily have rules, but it still has consequences if you don't do it correctly. You have a choice to execute it differently, or you have the choice to do it the way it exactly tells you.

It just has to lead to the exact outcome.

It sounds simple, but it's really not. But in conclusion, it's basically like a game but it sadly became reality. I'm glad that I was picked to play it. Corny? Mkay.

Anyways. My third mission should be coming up soon. It's been eight hours since my last mission; which I absolutely hated. The second mission was me fighting a supernatural creature—it had like extreme fluffy fur! I tried petting it since I did found it when it was asleep, but that backfired on me and that's how I accidentally unlocked my second mission. Which I was not prepared. That's completely on me.

My third mission might be the longest, if not the hardest. The third mission will probably be teamwork required; that's why I need to find people soon or else there'll be a higher chance of me getting killed. If I do get killed then someone else will be given the job I received.

And I don't want that to happen, I'm not gonna lie.
