"ugh...my head...,wait isn't that what I said in the starting of the previous chapter?" Kijin kairi woke up in a dense forest, the trees were quit tall, it was night time, the sound of leaves dancing in the wind was strangely enchanting.
"Ugh, why did he put me in a forest? And it's night, i am definitely getting eaten by some wild animal." Kairi said out loud, he had quit a habit of saying his thoughts out loud, years of sitting alone in the bed gave him some weird hobbies.
He pushed himself off the ground and started streching his body, " Wow, this body doesn't hurt, it's healthy, hmm, the arms are quite strong, the hair is also long...wait, long hair?" Panic set in as he put his hands between his legs, when he confirmed that his"little prince" was still there, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Sigh...thank God I am still a male that scared me."
As he was checking his new body, a sound of footsteps came from the forest behind him, he turned to look, and he found a tall man looking at him, almost twice his height.
But on his head were 2 black horns, and the clothing he wore was next to nothing, his pupils were completely white, and siliva was dripping from his mouth, there were an additional pair of hands spouting from his back, his hair was dark like the night and his skin red like blood.
He undoubtedly wasn't a human. He definitely wasn't friendly at all. The look of hunger on his face said it all
"What a foolish human, roming in the forest in the night, well, now you will end in my stomach, eheheheha."
The creepy laugh of the creature woke kairi from his stupor, and the first thing he did was screaming.
"AHHHHHH! What the fuck is this!? No way I am getting spawn camped!"
Even with his life in danger, kairi still had the time to crack a joke, but after that he straight up started running to the east.
The demon, seing him run, started laughing and chasing him.
'FUCK FUCK FUCK! Why the hell did he put me in a forest, now I am being hunted by this god knows what monster who definitely wants to eat me'
He kept running with all his might, but the demon kept the distance between them from getting too big.
'yep, he's definitely toying with me,he can catch me if he wants, but he's playing with me.'
The demon kept laughing," ehehehea, run you little human, I will savour you fear filled brain, run, run faster, ehehe"
Hearing his laughter, kairi thought 'damn, if I keep running, I am going to exaust myself and then I will be caught by him, think,think of something'
Suddenly he stopped running and turned to face the demon. His eyes cold and calculating.
Seeing him stop the demon though
'huh? Stopped? Did he get courage to fight? Hah, it's meaningless, if he knew any better, he would have tried to fight the first we met'
Suddenly, kairi dropped to his knees and knet before the demon and said.
"Oh great lord demon king, please spare this lowly one, I did not know better than to provoke your demonic might"
Seeing him kneel, the demon was dumbfounded, he stopped in his tracks, then in a amused tone, he said.
" Calling me the demon lord? No I am just a minion of that person, i barley gained the ability to think without my hungry overwhelming me after centuries of eating humans,but you know,"
It was the first time the demon was praised by someone, and he started walking towards kairi , when he reached him, he placed a hand on his head and continued.
"You are the first person to praise me since I became a demon, for this achievement, I will kill you in one blow, without any pain and suffering,"
As he was talking, he failed to notice a glint in the eyes of the human before it that it considered harmless and weak.
It was at this time that kairi, with all his strength,jumped on top of his back, and bit on his neck with his mouth, he tore almost half of his flesh.
The demon screamed and threw kairi away with his extra arms.
"AHHHHHH! you little runt! You decived me! Now I am going to make you beg for death."
Kairi, who was thrown to the ground with great force, pulled himself up, his left arm was broken, he stood against a tree, and spat a mouthful of blood.
'he didn't die from that? Fuck, he's not a human, ofcourse he didn't die from that wound, now I am finished, my left arm is broken, and I think I also broke a rib or two ,so this i how it ends? How boring, didn't even get to know which world this is , although i have a idea ,but anyways, I am going to die.'
As he thought of this, the memories of his past life flashed before his eyes, he saw himself in the bed, looking out of the window at the swallow flying outside.
He also wished to be free like that swallow, free from his illness, free from the tension of life, free from death.
He took a deep breath and exhaled.
He stood up, his left arm limp, his dark robe torn, his back was bleeding, but he stood up, straight like a pole.
"If I am going to die, I am not going without a fight."
He said with no emotions on his pale face, but his gaze was full of anger.
"Aa?huh? Fighting? Me? You? Eheheehhahahah...EHEHEHEA...ridiculous"
Said the demon, his face turning from laughter to a strange indifference, he was disgusted by the thought that he was injured by some lowly human.
Kairi just smiled in response
After what felt like an eternity, both of them charged at eachother.
The demon appeared before kairi like lightning and slashed his at torsos.
Kairi tried to dodge, but only to move back a bit before the claw of the demon tore into his left side.
Pain erupted inside him,but he gritted his teeth and slamed his fist into the neck of the demon,at the same place that he had bitten, but to his surprise, it's neck was as good as new. It has already regenerated the wound.
Envy and desperation filled him on realising that, but he has already punched the demon. Who straight up bit his shoulder and ate the whole chunk of flesh like some candy.
This was the last straw that broke the camels back, kairi stumbled, he pushed the demon away from his shoulder with all the strength he had left.
Now he was fully spent, nothing was saving him,he fell on his knees.
The demon, just like before, came in front of him and, without any caution, once again put his hand on his head.
"It was truly a meaningless fight, you couldn't even hurt me, that punch felt like a tickle. Now is time to finish this, sun is going to rise soon"
It spoke very calmly, but the grind on its face showed that it enjoyed the suffering of the human before it.
But just like before, it didn't think that the human before it was capable of inflicting any harm on it.
It was his greatest mistake.
Kairi grabed his wrist and pulled him, although he didn't fall, he was forced to bend a bit.
And that was all what kairi needed.
He let go of his arm and with 2 of his fingers poked the demons eyes.
His eyes burst, and he clenched them shut, blood falling from them.
It was at this moment, kairi once again bit his neck, but this time, he put everything he had in it, adrenaline keeping him awake, his teeth started shaking, with a crack, the neck of demon fell to the ground and with the neck, 2 teeth also fell.
Kairi sat with his back on a tree, he knew he is going to die, the demon was still alive, unless killed with a special blade or sunlight, nothing can kill them.
And even if the demon died, he would surely die from blood loss.
As he was thinking of this, the head of demon crawled towards its body, kairi was powerless to stop him.
His head reattached to his body and started healing.
After a couple of seconds, the demon stood up, his eyes back, his neck spotless.
He spoke, " human, you truly infuriate me, using these petty means, you injured me, but it's all futile, you humans can't fight against us demons."
After saying this, the demon reached to grab his neck and said " remember me, Kyo-shō, the one who took your life"
As he said so, he raised him up into the air and was about to crush his neck.
But then, a clean straight line appeared on it's neck.
