Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Sleeping Beauty of Mt. Tianheng (Please Vote!)

Liyue – Mt. Tianheng

Lu Lin rubbed his temples and climbed up from the grass as a flood of information poured into his mind.

He transmigrated?

This was Teyvat… Mt. Tianheng in Liyue?

Not only had he transmigrated, he also received a [Character Residency System] and a Serenitea Pot.

The function of the [Character Residency System] was to invite various Genshin world characters to reside inside the Serenitea Pot. By completing missions and other methods, he could earn points and rewards.

Points could be used to draw host traits, residency traits, exchange resources, and more…

As a starting guarantee, the system also gave him a beginner gift pack.

Inside were:

500,000 Mora

50 points

One Host Trait

One Residency Trait

At the same time, he received a new mission:

[Mission: Invite one Liyue character to reside]

[Reward: 1,000,000 Mora, 200 points, 200 EXP, one random host trait]

While sorting through the information in his mind, Lu Lin observed his surroundings. Mountains layered upon mountains. Lush green grass beneath him. In the distance, he could see a magnificent, prosperous, ancient-looking harbor city.

That must be Liyue Harbor. Truly grand and spectacular!

Wait… why is someone lying over there?

From the corner of his eye, he spotted someone collapsed on the grass not far away.

Just as he was about to check—

A sudden change!

"Yaaah!!!"

A group of fierce Hilichurls suddenly appeared, surrounding the unconscious figure.

Not good. She's in danger!

Without hesitation, Lu Lin activated the host trait he had just received from the beginner pack.

[Critical Moment]: When activated, time can be paused. During the pause, the host may move freely. Duration: three minutes. Usable once per day.

A mysterious force radiated from Lu Lin. Birds mid-flight, flowers swaying, leaves drifting in the wind—

Everything froze in that instant.

Including the murderous Hilichurls.

Lu Lin rushed forward and finally saw clearly who was lying there.

A breathtakingly beautiful girl. Delicate features. Graceful figure. Flawless pale skin. Slightly curled blue hair. Most eye-catching of all—a pair of black-and-red qilin horns atop her head.

She lay on her side on the grass, slender legs slightly curled, peaceful expression on her face, a faint smile at the corner of her lips.

Serene and beautiful.

Ganyu?!

Those iconic qilin horns were unmistakable. As a seasoned Ganyu fan, Lu Lin recognized her instantly.

Is she… sleeping?

Several thoughts flashed through his mind, but his hands kept moving. He grabbed a large axe from a Hilichurl brute and hacked it down onto the frozen enemy.

The [Critical Moment] effect only lasted three minutes. He had to act fast.

Fortunately, there weren't many—only six.

Swing after swing, the frozen Hilichurls fell like statues shattered by force.

Good thing he worked out regularly and had solid muscles—otherwise he might not have been able to lift the axe.

With about a minute left in time-stop, Lu Lin tossed aside the axe and crouched beside Ganyu.

Her sleeping face was gentle and soft, impossibly adorable. His heart skipped a beat as he unconsciously reached out.

Time is still paused… touching her a little shouldn't matter, right? Just compensation for saving you.

His hand brushed her delicate cheek. The soft, smooth skin gave him a strange thrill. He gently pinched it.

Soft. Springy.

His gaze drifted downward—but—

No. Time's running out.

He bit his tongue lightly to regain clarity. Now wasn't the time to indulge.

Since he had encountered Ganyu, of course she should be his first invitation target.

An idea flashed through his mind.

With seconds remaining, Lu Lin quickly grabbed a Hilichurl club and struck himself several hard blows. Then he tore his clothes, making himself look miserable and injured.

Just as he finished, the time-stop ended.

"Hey! Wake up! Are you alright?"

Ganyu was awakened by urgent shouting.

"Mmm~"

She opened her sleepy eyes, her voice soft and drowsy.

When she saw the disheveled young man in front of her, she was startled.

"W-What happened?!"

She quickly sat up, examining him.

He's quite handsome… but why does he look so battered? Is he hurt?

Lu Lin sighed slightly. "You finally woke up. Were you sleeping? That's some impressive sleep quality—such commotion didn't wake you."

He pointed around.

Only then did Ganyu notice the several Hilichurl corpses lying nearby.

"Eh?!"

There were that many Hilichurls here? So he saved her—and got injured because of it?

"S-Sorry! I usually sleep very deeply during naps. Thank you for saving me!" Her cheeks flushed red.

It was too embarrassing—sleeping so deeply she didn't even notice a Hilichurl ambush!

"It's dangerous to sleep in the wild. Next time, find somewhere safer," Lu Lin advised.

"Mm~" She shyly looked away. She'd been told that before by a previous Liyue Qixing. But when sleepiness hit, she really couldn't help it.

"Are you injured? Let me check."

Lu Lin had orchestrated this to get closer to her, but he still protested lightly. "I'm fine, really. Just superficial wounds."

"Let me check anyway."

Without waiting for permission, she gently opened his torn shirt.

"—!"

Her cool, soft fingers brushed across his chest, sending a shiver through him.

"Sorry! Did I hurt you?"

"No, no—it doesn't hurt."

That wasn't a lie. It just felt… stimulating.

His upper body was fully exposed before her—well-built chest and defined abs clearly visible. Ganyu, inexperienced in such situations, flushed even deeper red.

"Mmm… They're just surface wounds. Some ointment should do."
