Maya silhouette gave a loud cry, a loud sonic boom reverberated throughout the pack. Even going as far as alerting some nearby packs.
"What was that?" The people felt scared. Despite them being far away, they could almost feel their soul leaving them. "Thank goodness" They sigh in relief. But the same could not be said for the three sword men as they were crushed into pieces even though their souls could not survive.
Maya shifted back into her human form. That sonic boom just diminished most of her strength. To say she is left with one third of her power isn't to be underestimated.
Sarah immediately sat down, while taking a recovery pill. Stan and her men have been missing. Unknowingly. The cause of their disappearance is not clear to her. And she was sure that these three men were not the only ones here. There were more. For someone to capture the whole park without any one noticing, isn't just a simple being. That person's strength should be at least at the alpha stage. That's why she needs to recover quickly and go look for help. For some reason, she kept on imagining him. Over and over again. Those eyes, others might have feared it, but for some reason she felt protected under those stares.
A few meters away, an old man sat on the top of the tree. He held a cigar on his tip of his fingers. Smoking and puffing aggressively as if he can not get enough of it.
The sound caught his attention, making his soul tremble. "It's finally time" He muttered.
Looking at his small ring in his left finger. In there lies the stan and the rest of the pack. This ring could store human beings. There is a small space, capable of storing people in. It was created by a space attribute. It was said that this same person reached a level above the ascension realm. He could control space and law like the back of his hand.
If he was given a chance, he would kill every single dog inside this ring. But he was given direct order from his superior. Only Sarah and not the pack. Until this moment, Patrick didn't know the reason why his superior (leader) who was almost reaching the ascension realm could fear someone who was in his late stage grand master.
But Patrick never knew how a lunatic Trevor was.
He didn't know that his three attributes give him the power to fight against people who are way stronger than him.
Patrick smoked the cigarette down to the butt. Looking at the remaining piece, he frowned. " Going to the human world is unavoidable. "I just hope those old geezers won't come finding trouble." He knew he was getting more and more addicted to this, but love it and he didn't just care. Patrick uses a step in the air to fly to where his soul had already locked onto Sarah.
Sarah felt a strong aura coming her way, this aura was ten times stronger than the ones she fought. Right now her wolf, Maya, was weak. And now Maya had only recovered about 30 percent of her power, which isn't enough to go against someone two realm above you. Even if she was in her peak. She was sure she couldn't escape the clutch of a grand master. But now she has no choice, there's no going back.
Sarah stood tall in the empty field, wind whipping her robe , that she has not changed yet, like a dark flag, her eyes fixed onto the distant tree line where a lone figure emerged. The figure strode closer, boots kicking up dust, and she felt a spark ignite within her. The wind howled, like it was urging them on, as they locked eyes and the distance closed between them "this was now or never." Sarah swore to give her all. The air was already thick with tension as Sarah stood her ground, eyes locked on the approaching figure. The wind died down, and an unsettling silence fell over the field, just like the calm before a storm.
Patrick's lips curled into a smirk as he stopped a few feet away, eyes raking over her. "You think you're tough, huh?" he sneered, his voice dripping with condescension. "I'll take you down with one hand tied behind my back." He mocked
Sarah's eyes flashed with a fierce defiance, the only warning he got before she spoke, her voice low and deadly calm. "You should've brought your A-game."
Her weight shifted as she shifted into her wolf form, Maya.
Patrick heart skipped a bit. Those eyes. He has seen them before, and he sincerely appreciate those kind of people. If he has the power, he would definitely make her his disciples. But sadly enough she was someone that must be eliminated to keep the balance in the Qi continent from being upended.
