The clash of steel and cries of war had long faded, leaving only the whisper of the night wind moving across the still ground. Shadows stretched across the fallen, turning the once-chaotic field into a haunting sea of quiet.

The battlefield lay silent under the cold silver glow of the moon. Broken swords and fallen warriors of humans and demons stretched endlessly across the blood-soaked earth.

Mion Yu stood, bleeding and exhausted, the Sacred Pearl glowing violently over his chest. His ruby eyes blazed with hatred as they locked on Kaito Shin.

"You… betrayed everything we fought for," Mion spat, voice sharp with fury.

Kaito staggered back, fear and guilt etched across his face. "Mion… I—I did it to protect—"

"No!" Mion's laugh was hollow, twisted by rage. "No excuses. No forgiveness!"

The Sacred Pearl pulsed violently. Mion nocked a glowing arrow and fired. It struck Kaito in the chest, wrapping him in chains of radiant light. Kaito's body stiffened, and his eyes widened once in shock before closing forever. He was sealed in eternal sleep.

Mion staggered forward, clutching the Sacred Pearl as his wounds overtook him. Blood poured freely, and his body began to fail.

"This… ends… now," he whispered, crimson dripping from his lips. His ruby eyes dimmed as the world around him went black.

With a final breath, Mion Yu collapsed to the ground. The Sacred Pearl's light faded as his body went still. The hatred, the rage, the pain—all of Mion Yu died with him. The battlefield fell into silence, leaving only Kaito sealed and the empty night as witnesses.

Centuries later, in a completely different era, a young man name Hiroki Gou walked through a quiet forest path. In his hands, he held a small, smooth jewel—a relic long forgotten. Unaware of its history, unaware that centuries ago it had been the key to sealing a man in eternal slumber, he simply admired its glow.

The world had moved on. The battles, the hatred, the tragedy of Mion Yu and Kaito Shin—all were buried in time. The Sacred Pearl remained, silent and still, carrying only the echoes of its past power, a reminder of a love, betrayal, and fury that had vanished long ago.

Mion Yu was gone.
