The Demon king ,Apexion Rigs stood menacingly as he shot gazes of pure death at us.he then disappeared ,only reappearing while killing even more of my class mates .
Luckily James had created soul return which allowed our souls to return to Edelf hyme thus preventing them from being devoured by Apexion.
"James ,my soul return isn't running.damn it!"I exclaimed while running for my dear life.
"James ,you there,pick up you little shi..."
"I'm here Shin ,but you're going to have to remain behind as a decoy."
"What do you mean decoy?
" If I pull you back now ,Apexion will be able to follow you back here to Edelf hyme and we don't want that now do we?"
"We?as in you and who?"I asked in frustration as I con tinued to run through the deserted dystopian waste land
"The rest of the class and I .we voted on this and plus, you're the last per son there so it was only logical. Shin you know the devastation Apexion has caused and you know that if he gets here and kills us ,then there will be no one able to stop him from corrupting edenspire ,the world tree."

"Pitty, you had a powerful soul too shame, real shame."Apexion said as he proceeded to open his mouth to devour the orb

Now I know you might be confused about the context above . That ,my dear reader, is what I'm here to answer.
To remedy this confusion,throw back to two thousand years ago...
It was midday ,during one of the most passionate chemistry lessons our I've ever seen our teacher deliver. Unfortunately for her not everyone shared that passion as nearly a quarter of the class was asleep, others were sharing that passion and actually paying attention,the remainder,including myself, in their wildest delusions.
The legendary shin Otaku was day dreaming about playing that new game called Twin star. That's when my day dream got a little bit too ...tipsy for my tastes
When that tipsyness cleared,my classmates and I found ourselves in a lush green feild that stretched on for miles. In the back ground a massive golden-leaved tree.
When I say massive I mean so big that it's base alone was the size of a continent. A bright blue beautiful sky to complete the equation.
While all this absolute awesomeness was showing itself,the teacher was still holding her marker as if still wrighting on a board.
The funniest thing was that ,one she hadn't opened her eyes and was still babbling on about Avocado's constant[L] or something like that I don't know
But When she felt her pen not generating friction with the board,she opened her eyes. Here's what made it even more funny,when she saw her surrounding she didn't believe her eyes. Not because we came from a classroom to a lush feild , no, because she wore glasses.So she , I kid you not ,took off her glasses,wiped them and put them back on.Guess what,she observed no change
Just like in any classroom,ours was divided into different social groups, each dealing with the transmigration differently.
Take the popular student,for example,they all put on a 'brave face' to make them look cool or something. The jocks on the other hand , hadn't even woken up despite the transmigration.the rest were not so composed . I mean what do you expect them to do when they were plucked from their families,friends and normal way of life just to be transmigrated to a world they nothing about.
Oh,I almost forgot,the otakus. Though my last name is literally Otaku,I wasn't involved in their nefarious schemes. In fact these schemes were so outlandish that I am literally not allowed to mention them here
What was the teacher doing while all this was happening? I don't know... probably rethinking her career or something like that.
While the teacher was zoned out facing us, a small girl with a white haired guy,who might be her assistant, came forth. Then the short white haired girl spoke...
"Alright,settle down . I've summoned you here for a reason"
"To be heros or something like that?"Dansuke interjected already excited
"I'll get to that in a minute,"she said in reply to Dansuke then continued ," what I need from you is your help to defeat APEXION RIGS. He devours worlds and souls making him even more powerful per world or soul he devours. That's why if you look at the roots of that massive tree they seem redish .So in line with my request,I need you as Beyonders not heros."She finished
"Uhh...miss,"I asked while raising my hand like a good student,"why not just call us heroes, isn't calling us Beyonders a bit of a stretch?"
She looked deep into my eyes,her red and purple heterochromic eyes squinting in analysation.
"No,"she finally replied,"it isn't a stretch to call you Beyonders ,you enemy has killed multiple gods so it's justified. Oh and for context,gods and Beyonders are of the same power level."
"So let me get this straight,you summoned us here ,normal humans,to supposedly beat something that even gods couldn't defeat? Are you nuts? If we went up against this threat we would only end up as food thus defeating the purpose." I finished as I lay on the grass
"It is true that you are my guests,"she started,her eyes already darkening,"but that doesn't mean you can just disrespect me!" She said while releasing a massive pressure wave.
Due to the wave ,I couldn't even speak. Not that I didn't want to,I just physical couldn't open my mouth and talk.
"Sorry for that ,"she finally said , releaseing the pressure wave albeit still a little pissed about the 'little girl ' comment.
"Though a little late to be honest, Welcome to Edelf hyme home of the gods and the celestial tree Edenspire. "
"Allow me to explain."she continued,"I don't necessarily expect you to move to your deaths. I'm going to make you Beyonders. These are beings who defy the laws of their worlds. They advance from sequence one-twelve. Sequence nine being the same as a demi-god , sequence ten ,god and sequence eleven being oNE TRUE gOD. Sequence twelve being the true Beyonders. This sequence is only occupied by two peaple ,that is Veretis:the god of origin and Ragnarok and myself,Ovexus Nova:god overseer of all within the bounds of edenspire. My attendant her isMidas:god of value. Any questions?"
"H...ho...how C...ca...can w...we go back home?" One girl asked shakily
Ovexus just shook her head in what I could only assume was pitty," No,not until you finish the assigned task." She replied with a face full of arrogance.
"You're really despicable you know," I said while using my palms as pillows,"you rip us from our family, friends and loved ones , without warning mind you,and then make unreasonable demands in condition to return us.If that isn't despicable and delusional then I don't what is."
"You mortals really annoy me sometimes. You call my ways twisted and despicable yet when it comes down to it ,in a matter between life and death you would easily abandon even those you claim to be loved ones ,while convincing yourself that that's what they'd want for you. In conclusion mortal,my reasons are ,ore justifiable in comparison. I need you to save worlds is that reason not noble enough?" She explained.
"It's still a twisted since of justice if I've seen one." I said in reply
*Exhales*while holding her forehead
"This argument isn't getting us anywhere and anyway,those things you miss from your old world . Shouldn't they be motivation? ... you know what, nevermind." She said finally.
"Alright then."I said my eyes still closed .
"Alright kid , that's enough." Midas said ushering two of his fingers upwards, suddenly causing my body to stand up unprompted.
Midas then stretched lightly and disappeared. Only reappearing after stabbing his right hand into my chest.
This obviously causing me to cough up gallons of blood
"The... ."I exclaimed as I lost consciousness
Midas then pulled his hand out of my chest,causing my body to fall to the ground with a gaping hole where my heart used to be,revealing a blue orb nearly the size of a tennis ball. Inside the orb was what appeared to be another blue orb and a ring that encircled the blue orb. The ring had an empty jewel slot
"This ,"he said while holding the blue orb,"is a soul orb. It is the crystallisation of ones soul. It is proof of one's potential to be a beyonder . The higher the number of rings with filled gem slots ,the higher the beyonder's sequence. This is such that the higher in sequence a beyonder is ,the harder it is to obtain their soul orb." Midas explained.
"Alright Midas put the boy's soul orb back where it belongs." Ovexus instructed.
Immediately the soul orb was placed in my chest gap,a massive pillar of golden light shot down from the sky, filling the orb. As if in response,a massive pillar of black energy shot out from the orb upwards.
"Midas,"ovexus asked,already fuming,"what did you do to the boy's soul orb?"
"Nothing I swear," Midas answered ,his arms up in the air as if in surrender albeit the right one bloodied.
"I might've added the boy's value to this world thus allowing me to hold him within this world's laws.Relesing that hold is what caused that massive golden beam."
The teacher, finally concerned as if Midas killing me was not a concern,stepped up to ask ,"Ovexus ,I think killing one of my students is a little bit of a stretch wouldn't you agree?"
"Yes miss...Katsuko was it? I apologize on behalf of my subordinate her for the pain and inconvenience we've caused you're student."
"Huh,the more you know. I never thought I'd see the day when a god like you would apologize."I quiped while trying to keep the pain in my chest under control.
"Shut up mortal. Anyway , Midas do as we agreed on."ovexus instructed.
"On it vexy." Midas said in response. Midas then snapped his fingers causing plumes of golden code to appear in front of each of us.
"Once you drink what is in the chalices,you will be able to access both you Beyonders domain and Beyonders domain." Midas explained
"Don't call me vexy. It underminees my greatness in front of the mortal."Ovexus said pouding
"Sorry master won't happen again." Midas said apologetically.
"Alright,now to explain how those beyonder stuff works." Ovexus said ,visibly elated at the prospect of being called master by Midas.
"There are twenty seven different pathways and only three different base Pathways called spectrums you can choose now then build on them as you advance up the sequences. These three base spectrum are The Order spectrum,The Chaos spectrum and The Overlord spectrum."
Vexy then snapped her finger once causing the chalices to fully materialise." Now drink that which is contained within those chalices and your spectrum shall be revealed unto you."
I looked at the floating chalices with the blue liquid inside and thought long and hard for about zero point two seconds before I decided eff it I'm going to drink this .I proceeded to take the liquid down like a champ.
"Have fun and come back with goodies." Ovexus said while giving us that devilish smile
"You little shiii...."I thought as I was teleported away .
"Think they'll be okay?" Midas asked his golden eyes pearing at the tree
"Of course they'll be fine I mean I summoned them dummy." Ovexus replied a smug look on her face
" Alright,if you say so." Midas said radiance filling his face.
"Let's get back to those sweets we were having before fel disturbed us." Ovexus said with a gleam in her eyes
