Section 1 - World Structure
This story takes place on earth, however much has changed from the world we know. Here are the major players and their territories
The Republic of the Americas (TRA, The Republic):
Contains: Canada, Greenland, The USA,
Mexico, The Caribbean Islands, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru
As the name implies, it is a Democratic Republic where elected officials from specific regions know as states, represent the people. Each state covers approximately 750 square miles. A majority of representatives (at least 60%) must be in agreement to pass laws that effect the whole republic, but each is also responsible for his or her state as well. The capital is located in Oklahoma.
The African Empire(AE, The Empire)
Contains: All of Africa, Brazil, Tobago, Suriname, French Guiana, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel,
Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, U.A.E, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman
The African Empire is a dictatorship with two co-emperors. One handles civil matters, the other handles military matters. Both must agree on passing laws, declaring war, enacting conscription, and trade agreements for them to be put into effect. The capital is located in Morocco.
The Eurasian Alliance(EUA, The Alliance)
Contains: Iceland, all of Europe(except the Iberian peninsula, Albania, Greece, and Turkey), Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia
The Eurasian Alliance is a Meritocracy in which sections of land approximately 1000 square miles, known as sectors, are ruled by the best and brightest minds trained in everything from land and resource management to science and technology. Each sector governor is responsible for his or her territory, but also meet during the alliance convention, where the 10 best governors(also known as the council) lead a meeting to discuss law and policy that affects the whole alliance. The capital is located in Sweden.
The Kingdom of Oceania(KO, The Kingdom)
Contains: India, Nepal, China, Bhutan Bangladesh Mayanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, The Philippines, Papa New Guinea, The Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, New Caledonia, Australia, Hawaii, and Antarctica
The Kingdom of Oceania is a monarchy ruled by the king and queen, who make all decisions of state. The capital is located in Australia.
Section 2 - Military structure
All four governments use the same organizational structure for their militaries.
Team - 5 soldiers
Squad - 10 soldiers(2 teams)
Platoon - 50 soldiers (5 squads)
Company - 200 soldiers (4 platoons)
Battalion - 1,000 soldiers (5 companies)
Brigade - 5,000 soldiers (5 battalions)
Regiment - 50,000 soldiers (10 brigades)
Legion - 200,000 soldiers (4 regiments)
Army - 1,000,000 soldiers (5 legions)
All four major powers have multiple armies. The leadership of each level are not included in the soldier count. The leadership of each level is made up of an officer and an enlisted who work as a team with the exception of teams and squads, who are lead only by an enlisted NCO. The rank structure is as follows:

Section 3 - The Apocalypse War
The Apocalypse War is a war that is being waged due to ideological differences regarding who should rule.
One side is the divine powers, who believe that the right to rule lies solely with those at the top and those below them cannot challenge their power. This side is made up of the African Empire and the Kingdom of Oceania.
The other side is made up of the People's Powers, who believe that only those who prove they can rule should be allowed to do so. This side is made up of the Republic of the Americas and the Eurasian Alliance.
Due to the ideological differences and ever-growing population of all four powers, the war can only end with the total and utter destruction of one side.
