Lin Hao felt his body tighten. He was already under Xu Zihao's control.
Xu Zihao grabbed him and flew backward, out of the cave dwelling.
At the same time, Xu Zihao let out a great shout and struck out with his palm.
However, this strike wasn't aimed at Lin Hao, but at the empty space before them.
BANG!
An explosive sound echoed in mid-air, followed by a spreading mist of blood.
There was a Devil Beast deep within the cave dwelling Xu Zihao had opened. It was clear this had originally been its lair, but Xu Zihao had carved it out.
When he had been on the move, the Devil Beast hadn't dared to act. But faced with Lin Hao, who had no cultivation, the beast attacked directly.
Lin Hao's attention had been entirely focused on Xu Zihao, so he hadn't noticed it.
"Thank you, Brother Xu. You've saved my life again."
'I can't believe I let my guard down at such a crucial moment,' Lin Hao cursed himself, while also offering his heartfelt thanks to Xu Zihao.
