His affirmative reply caused the observing wizards to stir once more.
"Could Tren Mage have invited him?"
"With a Great Mage in attendance, tonight's gathering is going to be exciting!"
"You're right. Good thing I turned down my squad's 'hunting' trip, or I would've really missed out..."
"Don't just stand there gawking! Hurry up and figure out how to notify everyone who's eligible for this gathering but hasn't shown up yet. Tell them to get over here!"
As they spoke, the number of dark figures in the area instantly dropped by about a third. They were all rushing to notify their companions before the gathering began.
Nana Mage stood before Wei'en, her gaze falling upon the flame emblem on his chest. Confused, she asked, "You know me? Did Tren Mage tell you about me?"
"Something like that."
