Simply put, as long as there was enough Sinking Stone, the Magic Disease wasn't a concern. "Sinking Stone" was just a name; it was actually a unique Magic Metal that could isolate Magic Power within a small radius.
It might not be able to block powerful magic, but it was more than enough to ward off the faint corruption of Primordial Magic Power.
