Long Yan secretly met with the leaders of the other three great forces to discuss how to deal with Long Ao.
Within the Kyushu Forbidden Land, in a secret location.
Long Yan found Duan Kai and got straight to the point. "Brother Duan, although I don't know why the Imperial City allied with Long Ao, I'm here to tell you that the Netherworld Mansion and Piaomiao Palace have agreed to kill Long Ao. What is the Imperial City's position?"
Duan Kai seemed to have anticipated this and showed little surprise.
Nodding, Duan Kai said, "If you're certain we can succeed, the Imperial City is in."
Before Long Yan could reply, Duan Kai continued, "Dealing with Long Ao won't be difficult, but the Imperial City has one condition."
"Let's hear it."
Long Yan didn't agree immediately. After all, he was only the Grand Elder of the Third Level Long Family. Even if he could make decisions on behalf of the Long Family, he couldn't possibly speak for the Netherworld Mansion and Piaomiao Palace.
