This was just Long Ao's nature.
"Master."
Waving a hand, Long Ao spoke with a resolute expression. "Long Fu, since I've chosen to avenge the Ancient Divine Dragon, I must arm myself. That's why I have to obtain the Power of Origin."
Before Long Fu could speak, Long Ao continued, "You should know what happened with the Ancient Divine Dragon and Long Tian. If they had fused with the Power of Origin, it's impossible to say who would have won that battle back then."
Long Fu looked as if he wanted to say something, but all he could do was sigh.
Because his master wasn't wrong at all. The Celestial Dao became the most powerful entity in all of Heaven and Earth precisely because it had fused with the Power of Origin.
The Celestial Dao fears others fusing with the Power of Origin and surpassing it in strength, so it uses its avatars to guard the Land of Origin, severing everyone's opportunity to fuse with the Power of Origin.
