Ren Qing was about to turn and walk toward Su Yu when several dark figures suddenly appeared and blocked his path. "Are you Ren Qing?"
Ren Qing's steps faltered. The joy on his face faded as he looked up at the handsome males blocking his way, who gave off the faint, fishy scent unique to the Merfolk Clan. "What is it?"
The Merfolk males exchanged glances, a bit of shock in their eyes, and couldn't help but whisper among themselves. "How is he a male? Did we get the wrong person?"
"We shouldn't have. We've asked around everywhere, and he's the only one who admitted his name is Ren Qing."
"Could it be because of his race's characteristics? He looks like a male, but he's actually a female?"
"Whatever. Let's just grab him and figure it out later."
Ren Qing listened to them whispering. 'What?'
He wore a strange expression. 'Where did these brainless Merfolk come from? Plotting so loudly right in front of me?'
'And what's all this about male and female?'
