Memories from many years ago surfaced. Back then, Lin Qi was still studying Prosthetic Engineering at Liu's Academy in Red Fruit City, hoping to enter the company in the future and attain a higher social status in the Cyber World.
Everything changed on a gloomy, rainy day.
This should have been an ordinary day for Lin Qi, a preview of his future life of drudgery. But on this very day, after studying late into the night at Liu's Academy, he saw a bizarre scene on his way back to Edge-12 District aboard public transport.
A figure in a deep black robe, being pursued by the HGPD, appeared outside the vehicle's window.
This was the first time Lin Qi had ever seen an Extraordinary Professional with his own eyes.
This scene left an incredibly deep impression on Lin Qi.
After arriving in Edge-12 District via public transport, Lin Qi saw that Extraordinary Professional once again.
