Even so, Shen Lu bought over a dozen outfits, along with matching shoes and accessories, spending a total of eighty thousand Star Coins.
While trying on clothes, the salesclerk kept complimenting the beautiful ring on her hand.
"Miss, your pink diamond ring is gorgeous. It must have cost tens of thousands of Star Coins, right?"
Shen Lu paused for a moment and raised her hand to look at the ring.
'Tens of thousands of Star Coins?'
'Probably more than that. With this pink diamond's carat weight and color, it's easily in the hundreds of thousands of Star Coins.'
'The salesclerk probably thought that someone wearing a ring worth hundreds of thousands of Star Coins wouldn't be shopping here, which is why she only said tens of thousands.'
Shen Lu didn't explain, just smiled.

She had also thought things through.
