It was exactly 2:17 AM.

Arif suddenly woke up. His heart was pounding. He felt like someone was whispering his name.

"Arif… open the door…"

He sat up slowly in his bed. The room was dark, with only a faint moonlight coming through the window.

He whispered,

"Who's there?"

No answer.

Then his eyes froze on the wall in front of him.

There was a door.

Arif stopped breathing for a moment.

That door had never been there before.

He slept facing that wall every night. It was always just plain white. But now… there was an old wooden door. Strange symbols were carved into it—symbols he had never seen before.

Again, the whisper came.

"Arif… you are chosen…"

His hands trembled, but he slowly stood up and walked toward it.

The closer he got, the colder the air felt. It was like the other side of the door belonged to a frozen world.

His hand reached the handle.

Suddenly—

The door creaked open by itself.

A blue light spilled out from inside.

Arif knew one thing for sure.

If he opened that door, his life would never be the same again.

He looked back once.

Then…

He opened it fully.
