Chapter 2 - Death game N.2 = Charity

A group up to 10 people are stuck in a ball room.

To prevent anyone from attempting to escape, a collar would be on every player's neck.

Said collars will detonate if rules are broken, decapitating a player entirely.

In the ballroom 10 NPCs that the players can interact with.

Food, drinks and entertainment is at everyone's leisure.

The rules goes as follows ;

1. You all are at the biggest charity event of the city, act as such.

2. You are not permitted to physically harm the NPCs or other players.

Neither are NPCs allowed to physically harm players or other NPCs.

3. Every player will get a cause randomly.

You are allowed to convince others to donate for the cause you have gotten, and the only way of payment that is accepted will be with blood.

100 ML equals to 100.000 dollars.

4. You are not permitted to donate to your own cause.

5. NPCs are not permitted to donate without the players' say.

6.You are allowed to convince NPCs and other players to donate to your cause.

7. NPCs are allowed to make their own causes and convince others to donate to them, only when one of the NPCs donated to one of the players.

8. A leaderboard is visible on the screen to show everyone who is in the top 10.

9. The top 10 with the most donations by the end of the night wins.

Winners will have their devices removed and will be able to leave peacefully.

Here the game plan is relatively easy, as everyone can live if they donate to each other without involving the NPCs.

But once an NPC is involved things will definitely get harder, if not impossible.

With NPCs being able to make up their own cause rather than getting one randomly, they could easily gain more donations from other NPCs, leading to the players getting removed from the top 10 and getting killed by the end of the night.

This game is all about cooperation and trust.

Wheter you trust your fellow players to not go convincing NPCs to vote for them can either make or break the game in it's entirety.

It is heavily implied by the rules that the NPCs are people just like the players.

They are just as trapped as the players and risk dying all the same, meaning that the NPCs can talk to the players just as well as the players can interact with them.

With this the NPCs have a fair chance to convince players to let them donate to their cause and therefore gain the advantage.

Even if someone gains an extra 100ML from an NPC, they will not be guaranteed a place in the top 10 by the end of the night, as the NPCs can now donate to save themselves.

Plus, someone breaking the rules and dying would force the players to get the donations of NPCs, something most wouldn't realize until it's too late.

This is why this death game would be one if not the most difficult one to win, as your chances of survival rely completely on others and their ability to remain cooperative with both the rules of the game, as well as each other.

But regardless of the difficulty, there is one way for everyone to live, to tie with 0.

If everyone has an equal amount, everyone would be tied for the top 10 and everyone would get to leave.

After all the rules merely state that your allowed to convince others to donate, not that you have to.

But most likely then not, due to the competitive setting and desperate situation no one would think of this.
