Aurora couldn't help but be completely and utterly shocked beyond words by what Eric had just said to her.
She was so shocked in fact, that the intense bloodlust coursing violently through her veins, the same bloodlust that had been relentlessly urging her to kill him just moments ago, completely disappeared without a single trace, leaving her only able to stare up at him with widened, disbelieving eyes for a few long seconds.
But in the end, she quickly reverted back to her usual cold self and stared at him with hatred in her eyes again, albeit a little less hostility than before.
Because that was all it was.
Just initial shock.
"I don't need your help." Aurora spat out coldly.
She didn't believe him at all, not even for a second.
