Eric continued to test out his golden finger, or ability, or whatever it was, after the first time he had fully recovered until nighttime hit.
Then once he was completely satisfied with the results, he promptly turned off all of the equipment, removed the monitors attached to his body, and got dressed again.
If it wasn't obvious enough already, he had initially came over to the hospital in order to test out this ability of his to begin with since he knew that he had possessed it in the previous life.
Of course, he originally was hesitant to investigate it at first since the two recoveries in his previous life were inconsistent from each other, one of them even teleporting him back to his penthouse for no apparent reason, but after he had regressed back along with Aurora into this life, he decided that he had enough time to figure it out.
Which was why he had initially wanted to poison himself slowly in the first place.
