Nina Jacobs was surprised by how proactive Leo Hale was.

"It's too dangerous. No, absolutely not."

Vera Coleman thought it would be best for them not to take too many risks.

Maybe it was like the acid rain period—if they just hid at home, they could wait it out and get through it safely.

"That's impossible. Quick, look at this."

Daniel Hale had discovered that an official Drakonia app on his phone was actually broadcasting important news.

"How is there a signal?"

Chelsea Walsh asked.

"This app doesn't just use regular network satellite signals,"

"it can also use a secondary emergency radio wave."

"It's similar to how a radio works, so it's not surprising we can see the news," Ian Chandler explained.

"I see."

Nina Jacobs hadn't known about this in her past life. 'Was it because I was too busy just trying to escape?'

The broadcast showed footage of zombie virus outbreaks in various regions.

Although it kept stuttering, the picture was still reasonably clear.
