Chapter 9: Wonderworld

This remark caused a burst of laughter from the audience.

"It's like being a prostitute while trying to maintain a virtuous image."

"No wonder President Miller said he would sign the prenuptial agreement after the wedding; it turns out he never intended to sign it at all."

"President Miller has finally seen through this woman's true colors."

Lele became the laughingstock of the entire audience. Her former arrogance vanished, and she stood there in a sorry state, her eyes filled with resentment.

Robert's face flushed red. He knew that if he stayed any longer, his whole family would become a laughingstock. He angrily said, "Come with me!"

He then glared at Jerry and said, "You too, come with me!"

Jerry glanced at him, too lazy to pay him any attention, and turned to leave.

"You beast!" Robert roared in anger.

...

After leaving the wedding venue, he drove to Phoenix Avenue, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

I'm planning to meet someone.

Although he controls a large corporation worth tens of billions and has abundant legitimate resources, he lacks resources in the underground world.

Today we are meeting the former leader of the underground forces in Kingsland... Black Wolf.

Driving onto Phoenix Avenue, sure enough, there was a bright red Ferrari parked in the middle of the road.

In front of the Ferrari, a middle-aged man dressed in a food delivery uniform lay down in front of the food delivery vehicle. Jerry slammed on the brakes, sizing up the middle-aged man with a strange glint in his eyes.

That's him, Black Wolf!

Three months ago, he had just finished serving time in prison. His former power base had long since scattered, and the leader of the new faction mocked and ridiculed him. Helpless, he started delivering takeout.

However, he crashed into a Ferrari and was sued for 100,000 yuan, which led him to go berserk and kill more than ten people.

A richly dressed, plump woman shrieked, "Are you blind, you stinking delivery guy? You dare to run a red light!"

Black Wolf's dark face was full of pain: "I'm sorry... my delivery is about to be late."

"Stop talking nonsense. You've already smashed my headlights. I'll give you a discount of 150,000." The wealthy woman said angrily.

The traffic police arrived, the insurance company arrived, and the staff from the 4S dealership also arrived.

The court ruled that Black Wolf should pay 100,000 yuan in car repair costs and other expenses.

No matter how much the black wolf pleaded, the noblewoman remained unmoved.

The noblewoman spat on Black Wolf's face: "You piece of trash from the bottom of society, if you can't afford to pay, then you can expect to go to jail. I have plenty of ways to make sure you spend the rest of your life in jail."

Black Wolf's expression was ferocious as he collapsed to the ground, clutching his face.

He, who once held absolute power in Kingsland, now perfectly embodies the saying "a tiger fallen into the plains is bullied by dogs."

He slowly reached into the trunk of the electric scooter, where a sharp dagger was located.

Just then, a calm voice rang out: "One hundred thousand, right? I'll give you one million, you apologize to him." Everyone looked at Jerry, wondering who he was.

Jerry had already handed the one million check to the lady.

The wealthy woman, grumbling, took the check and said, "Who do you think you are? I'll pay you back, but you want me to apologize to him? No way!"

But when she saw the check and the signature on it, her face instantly turned red: "President Miller of JM Group?"

"Apologize," Jerry said slowly.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." The noblewoman's expression changed completely as she apologized to the black wolf repeatedly.

Then, the fat-faced man forced an ugly smile: "President Miller, I'm the owner of S4 Department Store. I wanted to discuss cooperation with you last time, but you didn't have time, so perhaps..."

Jerry glanced at her and said coldly, "Get lost."

The crowd stared at Jerry in shock, marveling at how different the wealthy were.

After the crowd dispersed, Black Wolf's eyes showed shock and wariness: "Thank you, but let me make this clear first, I can't repay you one million. I can only repay you one hundred thousand at most."

Jerry helped him up and smiled faintly: "Brother Black Wolf, do you want to rebuild the Black Wolf Gang?"

Black Wolf shuddered, staring at Jerry in shock.

[A/N: Black Wolf / His Gang : Black Wolf Gang]

Ten years ago, he was an Absolute Figure. When people hear his name no one dared to say anything, even children stop crying.

After serving ten years in prison, the people of Kingsland had long forgotten about him.

'How could this young man in his early twenties know me?'

Black Wolf shook his head: "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Give me three hours, and I'll convince you." Jerry smiled faintly and personally opened the car door for Black Wolf.

Black Wolf nodded.

"I'll take you to see someone." Jerry's voice was calm.

"Tim, the deputy director of the Kingsland Police Bureau, he's my brother."

"What?" Black Wolf was startled, and his gaze toward Jerry became more serious.

He initially thought Jerry was just a wealthy boss, but he never expected him to have connections in the legitimate world.

It seems he's quite capable.

Jerry continued, "He's still the deputy director now, but I can make him the director within a month."

Black Wolf narrowed his eyes and sneered, "Bullshit! I was sent in by Director Mohan ten years ago. His influence in Kingsland is unfathomable. How could he be taken down so easily?"

Jerry didn't want to say more, so she called Tim and arranged to meet him at the teahouse.

Inside the teahouse, Tim pushed open the door to the private room and laughed loudly, "You're something else, kid. So all that cowardice before was because you were holding back this big move."

"The entire Kingsland is in an uproar now. Lele and Jacob are completely disgraced."

"Huh? Why does this guy look so familiar?"

Jerry smiled and said, "Black Wolf."

Tim's eyes narrowed immediately: "Why did you call him here? I'm warning you, we're brothers, but I won't do anything illegal with you."

" Black Wolf, buy me a pack of Blue Lotus with popping beads." Jerry smiled and looked at Black Wolf.

Black Wolf nodded, knowing that the two wanted to send him away to talk, and turned to leave.

"Remember when I told you that I would take down Director Mohan within a month and seize power in the Kingsland Police Bureau?" Jerry gave him a cigarette and lit one for himself.

"Speak." Tim stared at Jerry for a long time, and seeing that he was not joking, he said in a deep voice.

Jerry said slowly, "You know he's colluding with the White Dog Gang, right?"

"How did you know?" Tim asked in surprise.

Jerry did not answer, but continued, "The province will send people down to investigate in three days. Once they investigate, Director Mohan will definitely be finished."

"He would send someone to kidnap the special envoy's wife, strip her naked, take photos, and threaten the special envoy."

"Holy crap?" Tim was shocked.

Jerry calmed him down and smiled faintly: "I also know his detailed plan. You just need to collect the evidence against him, rescue the special envoy's wife, and the position of director will be within your grasp."

Tim stood there dumbfounded, unable to believe his ears. How did my brother, whom I always considered a lapdog, become so crazy?

Moreover, the methods used were almost terrifying.

"How could you possibly know about something that's almost top secret?" Tim shook his head and said, "Dude, are you kidding me?"

"Whether it's a joke or not, you'll know after you read this document." Jerry sent him a document.

The document details the actions of Director Mohan and White Dog, as well as the special envoy's name, address, and where his wife lived.

Tim glanced at it a few times, then stood there dumbfounded, staring intently at his phone.

Just then, Black Wolf returned.

Jerry opened the cigarettes and gave one to each of the two people, then lit one for himself.

Casually lighting the cigarette Tim had taken, he then stared blankly at his phone. He didn't move until the butt glowed red-hot, at which point he quickly tossed it aside.

"What's wrong with him?" Black Wolf asked in a muffled voice.

Tim suddenly grabbed Jerry's shoulders with both hands: "If this is true, brother, you are my godfather!"

"You decide," Jerry chuckled, turning to Black Wolf.

 "You need a white glove."

"Him?" Tim frowned.

"You know I don't do that kind of thing."

"You understand the principle that 'if the water is too clear, there will be no fish.'" Jerry said calmly.

"The underground forces cannot be completely eliminated. Only by supporting obedient forces can we maintain peace in Kingsland."

"Do you think I'm stupid?" Black Wolf laughed gruffly, shaking his head.

"I think you two are just trying to fish for my magic."

Tim frowned, his gaze towards Black Wolf becoming somewhat grave.

He was indeed tempted.

Whether Black Wolf agrees or not is another matter.

Jerry smiled faintly, looking at Black Wolf with disdain: "Fishing for justice? You're not worthy."

These words were a resounding slap in the face to Black Wolf, who had been smug and thought he had seen through the scheme.

He's not the same person he used to be; now he's just a food deliveryman. If it weren't for Jerry, he would still be burdened with a debt of 100,000 yuan.

A big boss and a deputy director, if they wanted to mess with themselves, they wouldn't need to go through all that trouble.

"Black Wolf and I are leaving first, buddy. You figure it out." Jerry smiled and gestured for Black Wolf to get up.

Tim nodded blankly and continued studying the documents in his hands. Black Wolf remained silent throughout the journey.

"If you just want to be an ordinary person, then I've misjudged you," Jerry said with a faint smile.
