"I don't know what to do," Sebastian said again, his gaze piercing mine with that exposed emotion that made my chest tighten. "Tell me what you want, Maya."
The question lingered in the air for just a moment before clarity struck me like lightning. Desire coursed through my veins, drowning out any whisper of caution or second thoughts.
A wicked smile played across my lips. Instead of speaking, I grasped his hand and guided him toward the shadowed corner of the terrace, where darkness pooled thick and the wooden structure offered privacy from any wandering eyes below.
"Maya?" Confusion threaded through his voice, though the hunger in his eyes told me he already knew where this was heading.
I molded my body against his, feeling his instant response. My hands traced up his torso before sliding behind his neck, drawing him down to me.
"Right here, right now," I whispered against his mouth, my voice thick with want, "this is exactly what I need."
