Sebastian had picked this particular movie, insisting we needed something completely mindless after the chaos that had consumed our lives for weeks. He was absolutely right. This peaceful evening felt like a precious gift.
I nestled deeper into the warmth of his chest, carefully balancing my latest culinary experiment in my lap. The combination of creamy vanilla ice cream crowned with crisp dill pickle slices and a generous drizzle of yellow mustard would probably horrify most people, but right now it tasted like heaven.
