Said Violet soon after i stepped into the door,she just left as she pleases and returned late, i wonder how father will punish her,continued to talk as the Violet i knew, i just listened but i didn't even looked at them, i was so exhausted to even argue with them,when i reached inside my bedroom i took off my clothes and wet for a warm bath, for few minutes my mind was going wild with different thoughts about how did manage to even sit with that arrogant man,i mumbled to myself,he was so talkative in our first meeting but today he even gave me a chance to explain myself,was that a dream? I pinched myself to verify that and yes it real hurt! Mother! Called Violet, yes dear! Answered Vivian, i thought she would return and still be angry but she is just so calm that its scary! Yeah! I woke up to my phone ringing so hard that i wished i could smash it on the floor for the disturbance it caused,still i picked up the call with a muffled voice full of sleepy drowsiness, Hellow who is this? Came the voice from the speaker, i stared at the phone which i wished to smash it when it woke me up few minutes ago but i started kissing it with joyful jumps as it gave me good news this morning. I rushed to my wardrobe looking for an outfit that can make me presentable to such a big company national and international, i was so excited but the excitement was stolen soon after hearing Vivian's voice booming outside my bedroom door.

In my thoughts i wondered why the display of a drama again, that's when i saw father coming from his home office staring at us and he heard what Vivian said he bursts into ignited fire of anger,and came rushing towards us with large feet strides, he pulled Vivian aside and faced me directly the anger boiling inside him , you ungrateful child you even dare lay your hands on your mother? Father said it while pointing a finger at me, i replied my mother is dead dad! And a point of correction that is your mistress you brought into this house along with her daughter am not even related to her by blood as we know she isn't your biological daughter! When Vivian heard the bitter truth she started to cry, a hard slap echoed realising i was slapped again! I backed off staring at my father, he said, let this be your last time disrespecting your mother and young sister like this or you be disowned by me completely and am not joking at all! I was deeply hurt but this time i stood firmly and said, then do it without holding back! Am tired of all this drama! With my angry tone and my trembling hands i slammed my bedroom door shut on their faces and i didn't care whether i was harsh but all i know i was so tired and exhausted with their malicious words.
I collapsed into my bed as i cried my whole heart aching, i was left in despair and all alone, i remember how mother used to talk to me gently,comb my hair,reciting bed stories, prepared breakfast that was so delicious but now everything here is different as all those things done Only to Violet, but me? Well me it was the opposite of it, still accused am having bad manners, i wondered if they see through their conspiracy and put the blame on me, i endured for years but i have decided not anymore! I came out and prepared a meal as it was already afternoon and i was so hungry, i ate and left so as to run away from another trouble that could be prepared by mother and daughter duel. I went to a park to freshen up my mind and calm myself also getting prepared for tomorrow's attendance to my new office.
